Skylar Lopez. Twin sister of Santana Lopez. Many knew their names because Santana was a cheerleader and one of the most popular girls in school. She was also apart of The Unholy Trinity. It was a group of the only the top cheerleaders. It was a trio that consisted of Santana, Brittany S Pierce, and last but certainly not least, the most popular girl in school—and also the head cheerleader... Quinn Fabray.
Now, people knew Skylar not only because she was Santana's sister, but she was also on the soccer team at William McKinley High School. Both things causing her to gain popularity.
They are alike in many ways, but Skylar was born a little different. She was born intersex. Which means she has the upper body part of a female, but has a male lower part.
Santana always knew since they were really young about Skylar liking girls. And, she had no problem with it.
They have always told each other everything. They know when something is wrong with the other and they always know how to cheer one another up.
One day Santana brought over her best friend. Brittany S Pierce. A tall blonde girl with blue eyes, who Santana introduced to Skylar.
Skylar automatically took a liking to Brittany and could see why Santana talked about her all the time and looked so amazed by her.
Brittany is the bubbly blonde of the group, who is literally the definition of sunshine.
"Sky. This is my best friend, Brittany. Britt, this is my sister Skylar." Santana introduced the two with a huge smile.
"Hi! I'm so happy I finally get to meet you!" Brittany beamed brightly as Skylar laughed at the girl's excitement.
"I'm happy I finally get to meet you, too." Skylar smiled and Brittany squealed and hugged her tightly.
"We're gonna watch The Little Mermaid. Do you want to watch it with us?" Santana asked her sister with a huge smile as Brittany smiled at her before turning to Skylar and nodding her head 'yes' repeatedly.
"Always." Skylar nodded with a grin while Santana and Brittany sat on the couch as Skylar grabbed the dvd and put on the movie. "I'm gonna go make popcorn and get us drinks and stuff."
"Don't forget the blankets!" Santana yelled as Skylar started walking away.
"Please!" Brittany shouted after her with a smile.
"I won't!" Skylar yelled back with a chuckle.
Santana came home one day with Brittany and this time they had another blonde cheerleader with them.
Quinn Fabray.
Skylar thought she was the definition of perfect. When Santana introduced Quinn to Skylar, she couldn't take her eyes off Quinn.
Apparently Quinn couldn't take her eyes off of Skylar either.
"Sky!" Santana yelled walking into the house.
"What?!" Skylar yelled back from her room upstairs.
"Get your ass down here! Britt's with me!"
As soon as Skylar heard that her favorite blonde was there she ran to her door.
"Britt's here?" She asked as she ran down the stairs quickly.
"And I also have another surprise." Santana shook her head disappointedly, throwing her hands up when her twin disregarded her words as she did not hear a thing she had said to her. "Fuck me, right?"
Once she got to the bottom, Brittany squealed and jumped onto Skylar, who caught her and held her tightly.
"Hi, Sky." Brittany laughed.
"Hi, Sunshine." Skylar smiled before her eyes fell onto a shorter blonde with the most mesmerizing hazel-green eyes, standing beside her sister. She thought that she had never seen her. But then, she met her eyes and once she fully let her eyes roam over her face, she swore that she had seen the girl before. "How's Bailey and Maggie?"
Brittany smiled at the mention of 2 out of 3 of her sisters. "Oh, they're good..."
"And my favorite bestest little friend?" Skylar asked about the youngest Pierce of all.
"She figured out another bad word. And it surprisingly wasn't my fault this time."
The first time they ever saw each other was in the locker room when they were at school one day during their freshman year. They had caught the other's eyes and smiled at one another, not thinking anything of it. Who knew they'd ever meet each other, get to talking, and eventually become close?
But to them, nothing had ever topped the moment they met.
So far. But then that had all changed.
And then one day... something happened between the two. They shared something special with each other and trusted the other person to the fullest extent. What they shared wasn't easy. It was when you were at your most vulnerable moments and decided to give something and yourself to someone completely.
Skylar and Quinn decided that they were gonna be each other's person. Because no one was better than the other for them.
Skylar set Brittany down and turned to Santana with open arms.
"Hi, Santana. My sweet angel of a twin, how are you? How was practice? Oh, I'm fine, Sky. And practice was awesome." Santana said sarcastically with an eye roll.
"Shut the hell up, San." Skylar laughed while she pulled Santana, who smiled and laughed into her arms. "But really, how was practice?"
"It was good." Santana scrunched her nose as Skylar kissed her forehead.
"Anyways, I want you to meet Quinn." Santana gestured to the other blonde cheerleader on her right, who was already looking at Skylar.
The younger Lopez went on to explain that she was now on the cheerios with them since she had joined recently.
Skylar turned giving the shorter blonde a dimpled smile as she stuck out her hand for her to shake. "Hi. I'm Skylar."
"I'm Quinn." Quinn smiled as her and Skylar just stared at each other, stilling holding the other's hand, not even shaking them anymore.
"Stop eye fucking each other." Santana said and Skylar and Quinn both blushed at her words as they let one another's hand go. Not that either of them noticed the other's blush. "At least while Britt and I are in the room."
"Go do whatever it is you guys are gonna do. I'm gonna go finish my work out and then take a shower afterwards." Skylar chuckled as she walked towards the stairs.
"Okay. Love you!"
"Love you too!" Skylar replied back to Santana as she walked up the stairs. She waved bye to Brittany when she waved at her with a grin.
Feeling eyes on her, Skylar turned around to find Quinn watching her walk up the stairs. She smiles and winks at Quinn, who blushes and looks down with a smile.
Not that Skylar saw anyway.
Over time Skylar got closer with Quinn. They would flirt all the time. Brittany and Santana knew. They knew they liked each other, but neither Quinn or Skylar would actually admit it.
Quinn got a boyfriend right before school started. Finn Hudson. The Quarterback. So, what happens when school starts and Skylar joins the glee club with Finn?
