It's the beginning of the school year in Quezon City, Philippines. The sun was shining and the streets was bustling with students, excited for the start of the school year. One particular student however, wasn't too excited with the idea. Her name is Chidori Villanueva, a 16 year old girl who lives with her Mother and Father. She's the type of girl that doesn't like to spend time with other people unless her parents know them, or if she has known them for a long time. The typical shy girl who knows nothing about the real world.

As Chidori stood in front of the school gate, she takes a deep breath to prepare herself for the year ahead. "I hope this year treats me well", she said to herself as she goes through the gate and enters the school. She takes a look at the school and is impressed by its beauty, it was very big and filled with students running around and spending time with each other. At the corner of her eye, she notices a group of boys talking to each other near the school's track field. One particular boy caught her attention, he was pretty tall possibly about 6 feet and 2 inches in height, he had yellow eyes and his hair was a combination of black and blond, possibly bleached. Chidori couldn't help but stare at the boy, entranced by his beauty. Suddenly someone appeared next to her and said, "He's breathtaking isn't he?". Chidori jumped in surprise at the sudden appearance, startled and embarrassed that she was caught staring at someone. "Uh w-who are you?", Chidori responds in a shy tone. It was a girl with middle length brown hair and emerald eyes. The girl looked at Chidori with a smile and responds, "I'm Kanon, Kanon Ramos". Chidori was a bit startled by her sudden appearance but she quickly calms down, "H-hello I'm Chidori... Villanueva", she responds in a bashful tone. "Nice to meet you", Kanon responds as she gently shakes Chidori's hand. "S-so about... what you said earlier... do you know that boy?", Chidori said as she looks back at the boy at the track field. "Who doesn't know that boy, he's only the most popular boy in school, his name's Banri de la Vega", Kanon responds with a smile and cheerful tone. "B-Banri... de la Vega", Chidori say's to herself as she continues to look at him. "W-wait, you said he's the most popular boy in school?", said Chidori as she quickly regains her focus and snaps out of her trance. "Yup, he's a second year and the captain of the school's Track Team", Kanon responds with a smile. "I-I see, that explains why he's near the track field", Chidori responds. Before they could carry on with their conversation, they hear the bell rang, signaling that it's time to go to their classrooms.

It was around 9 A.M and Chidori settles in to her new class. She sits on the back of the class, next to the window. She couldn't stop thinking about the conversation she had with Kanon earlier and thinks back to seeing Banri, it seems she was quite interested in the boy. She was suddenly snapped out of it once again when she felt someone tap her shoulder, she turns around to see it was Kanon again. "Hey it looks like we're in the same class, isn't that awesome", Kanon said with a smile and cheerful tone. "O-oh yeah that's great", Chidori responds with a shy tone and soft smile. It seems like this will be the start of a new friendship for Chidori, sadly she's quite shy around people and has a hard time trusting others, but she does hope that she can be close friends with other people someday, and it seems that Kanon is the perfect girl for the job. A few minutes later the Teacher eventually arrived. He gave everyone the rundown of their class schedules and gave them a warm welcome into the school. The Teacher was quite friendly and definitely looked like someone that the students can rely on. Out of nowhere, they hear loud cheers coming from outside, like there was a concert going on or something. The students, along with Chidori and Kanon quickly look out the window to see what was going on. There they saw Banri and a group of students fighting against a different group of students. "W-wait... What's going on?!", said Chidori as she looks at the sight with a confused look. She then hears one of the students shout, "IT'S BANRI AND THE ECLIPSE OUTLAWS!". Chidori looked at the student in a confused expression, "Eclipse Outlaws?". "The Eclipse Outlaws are a gang led by Banri de la Vega", the Teacher said as he crosses his arms and watch the fight. "A-a gang?", Chidori responds in a curious tone. "Yes, they are the most dominant group in this school and are evens considered as the school's lethal protectors", the Teacher responds. "Yeah I heard that too, they are said to be the most violent group as well, and their leader Banri was recently released from Juvie", a student jumps in on the conversation. "I also heard that he set fire to their neighbor's car cuz the neighbor accidentally ran over his pet dog", another student jumped in on the conversation. Chidori was getting more and more confused and at the same time shocked at these revelations, the boy that she was entranced with is some kind of criminal. "I also heard that he is a black belt in Karate, but on his second competition he was disqualified and forever banned from Martial Arts ever again for nearly killing his opponent", Kanon said as she watches the fight with excitement. It seems that Banri is indeed quite popular in the school, but not how Chidori expected. Soon countless students from the school watched the fight, from their own classrooms and some even went outside to watch the action closer. During the fight, one student suddenly charged at Banri holding a baseball bat, aiming to hit him in the head. Chidori was quite shocked at this, but before she could even blink Banri stopped the student in their tracks by hitting the student in the chin with a Crescent Kick, knocking the student to the ground completely unconscious with blood on their mouth. "Charging at Banri like that is foolish, he'll shut you down with a kick to the head", the Teacher said as he turns around, not wanting to watch this level of violence any longer. Banri and his gang eventually left the area, leaving a pile of unconscious and battered students on the ground. "S-so that's... what Banri is like", Chidori says in a disappointed tone as she looks down on the floor.
