Episode 2

Flashback...

Mr. Lee: Don't tell anything to her now. I just want her to be happy!

Yn's POV...

After I got the call about my father, I quickly came to the hospital and saw his secretary inside the room.

Yn: What happened to you? You were fine till morning! Tell me, Dad! I was worried about you!!
Mr. Lee: I'm okay, sweetie!! Why do you always worry about nothing?! Ask Mr. Pm (secretary), I'm absolutely fine!

I look at him who is literally sweating. I frown my eyes at him before asking about my father's condition.

Yn: What's wrong Mr. Pm? Why are you sweating this much?! Everything alright??
Mr. Pm: Huh.... Oh, y..yes!! He is alright! He just got a little exhausted from his work.
Yn: What?! Dad!! That's why I always tell you to get some rest and you are (deep sigh)... you never listen to me and always work work work!!!

Mr. Lee just laughed at his daughter's little concern but also felt somehow sad. He just patted his daughter's head and kept looking at her with full of love.

Yn: First of all, you're on a hospital bed and now smiling!!
Mr. Lee: Ynaah!! Why do you always get worried about nothing!? You know, your dad won't die before your marriage.

Yn quickly hugs her father.

Yn: Don't ever say that! You can't die before seeing your grandchildren!!
Mr. Lee: What!!! Hahaha....

Mr. Pm just let out a sad chuckle, seeing this father-daughter love.

Someone suddenly ran inside the dining hall. Just by looking at his face, anyone could say that he is so stressed about something.

Mr. Pm: Ohh, Mr. Kim!! You came!

Mr. Kim shot his angry eyes at him like he would burn him at any moment.

Mr. Kim: What do you mean by that?! Of course, I had to come! Now tell me, where is that idiot?
Mr. Pm: Oh, Mr. Lee!! He's in his room...

Mr. Kim kind of ran towards his room and quickly entered. He was about to curse his best friend but stopped in the middle when he saw his daughter sitting beside him.

They both were gossiping about something, but suddenly someone opened the door, and they both looked at the person.

Yn: Oh, hi uncle!
Mr. Kim: H..hello Yn! How are you?
Yn: I'm okay!
Mr. Lee: Ynaah, will you give us some moment sweetie?
Yn: Oh, yeah! Of course!!

She smiled at both of them before leaving them to talk.

After locking the doorknob, Mr. Kim sat next to his best friend. He has to say a lot! He wanted to curse him but, he couldn't. He just kept looking at him with his teary eyes.

Mr. Lee: Hey, buddy!! Don't feel sad! What I'm gonna do if you break down like this?!
Mr. Kim: (he sadly shakes his head while a few drops of tears fall from his eyes) Why didn't you tell me before?!!
Mr. Lee: I didn't want to make you feel worried about me! But now (heavy breath), I really need your help!
Mr. Kim: Don't say like that! I'm always here for your help.
Mr. Lee: (he smiled) I know! Please take care of my daughter when I'm not here anymore. She is so sensitive! She lost her mother in her childhood. So, she never got the love she deserved. But I always tried my best to give her all the happiness. But now, I also have to leave her!!

They both kept quiet for some moments. Mr. Kim let out a shaky breath and looked deep into his eyes.

A few Days Later...

Yn's POV...

Maid opened the door for me.

Mr. Lee: Oh, sweetie! Come here!

He gave me a warm smile and patted the seat beside him.

Yn: Hi uncle! You're also here!
Mr. Kim: Yes!!
Mr. Lee: Ynaah, we want to tell you something!
Yn: Yes! What's wrong?... Did something happen guys?!

I looked at them.

Mr. Kim: Ynaah, we want...

Suddenly someone came and interrupted us.

Mr. Lee and Mr. Kim: Oh, he came!

I looked in the direction where they were looking.

Mr. Kim: Yn, meet him! This is my son KIM TAEHYUNG!

Mr. Lee: And we want you to get married to him! Next week, you guys are getting married!

She couldn't say anything but just stare at her dad who was looking at her with eyes full of hope. Then she looks at the person standing beside Mr. Kim.

Yn's POV...

How can I get married?
How can I live without my dad?
He is the only one I have in my world!... The same goes for him!
But I also can't disappoint him.

But...

It wasn't a luxurious marriage!
Only some relatives were invited..
No vows...
No promises...
Just a sign!

He said... he already has someone.. else!
He said.... He was forced to marry me!

He won't ever introduce me as his wife. Because he loves someone else!

Taehyung: Don't you dare to introduce yourself as Mrs. Kim! Never and ever!!
