Fan's POV

I walked into the hotel. Friends were chatting away, partners were creating memories. Ever since Test Tube revealed a planet would crash into our planet everyone has been making the most of their lives. Goo was chatting to Bot about some new analogy he had thought of, Lightbulb was making Paintbrush laugh with some wacky joke whilst baxter scuttled about, Yin-Yang , Candle and Blueberry were meditating, Balloon was teaching Nickel how to make salt dough whilst Baseball and Suitcase looked at the two as if they were hurt on the inside.

I was adjusting my glasses when I bumped into someone, it was Test Tube. 

"Oh hey Fanfic.." Test Tube had lost the determined glow in her eyes that had been there for so many years on end. 

"Hey Test Tube you alright?" She sighed.
 
"I'm sorry Fan.." Her glasses tilted down as she held her head low.

"What's wrong?" I looked at her puzzled.

"I failed I can't stop it. We're going to die..." I stepped towards whilst her fidgeting with the silly bandz stacked on my wrists.

I held her hands in mine which is something I wouldn't do to many people and Test Tube knew that.

"Don't say that Testy, you are smart and amazing and... even if you can't see that... well I do and Bot certainly does. Without you they wouldn't even exist!" My eyes glowed bright, being truthful all the way through.

"But maybe if I started experimenting earlier I could have stopped everything-"

"Oh come on let's just enjoy our time here with our friends"I turned to face everyone else having fun with their friends and partners, I turned back to Test Tube before balancing her glasses back on her face normally, "...and each other. I've never told you this because I have never exactly felt like it but you are special to me more special than anyone else. And... I would love it if you would be the Sapphire to my Ruby, the Crybaby to my Ben, the Star to my Marco- wait no how about Tom- y'know nevermind let's not get into the ships in that show..."

"Fan...." Test Tube surprisingly hugged me, I froze for a second but I hugged back.

"Want  some Silly Bandz?" 

Test Tube giggled at me, "Hmm do you have any science related ones?"

"I have a rocket ship" I smiled back at her.

"Then sure" Test Tube was smiling widely as I placed a dark blue rocket ship-shaped silly band into her hand.

That night, the planet was in view without a telescope. The planet had looked strangely dulled down, the water was a pale, dull blue whilst the land was all dull for no apparent reason. It was as if the whole planet's colours were depressed.

Test Tube's face was filled with anxiety which is different from her usual composed self.

"Test Tube it's okay if you can't do this one thing. You and Fan have given me all I am there's nothing else you could ever give me." Bot spoke confidently sticking to their thoughts. 

Test Tube continuously was doubting us but me and Bot would stop at nothing to help her realise her true worth and everything she's done for everyone.
