"Come on, man, forget about her!"

"I had already forgotten her long ago, you're the one reminding me". Shubman said annoyed. He had just finished his match and returned to his hotel, but his coach followed him in.

"Why don't you get married then!" His coach slurred, clearly drunk. Shubman is an MMA fighter, so he had to keep himself in shape. He had quit drinking and smoking when he joined MMA.

"Thankyou, but no! I'm fine. I don't need another heartbreak," he sipped on his protine shake, and thought about wandering around a bit.

"I'll be back, hey! Bhaiya, don't get too drunk, okay?" He said this as he left the hotel, pulling a lollipop out of his pocket and unwrapping it. He was just about to put it in his mouth when someone bumped into him, causing the lollipop to fall. He stared at his fallen candy.

" Hey! Can't you see where you're going-"

H...help me, please.

He turned around to find a lady, a beautiful lady in her bridal attire. A South Indian bride perhaps? Well, she look stunning.

Shubham was taken aback by the sight of the distressed bride standing before him. Her eyes were bloodshot and filled with tears, her cheeks stained with mascara, and her hand trembling. His initial annoyance melted away, and he quickly shifted gears from frustration to concern.

" What happened? Are you alright?".
Shubman asked, stepping close to the bride.

The bride took a deep breath, trying to compose herself. " They....they are following me, please help" she stammered.

Shubham instinctively looked around, scanning the area for any sign of danger. He saw no one suspicious but didn't want to take any chance.

"Who's following you?" Shubman asked his voice filled with genuine concern.

" There she is! Get her!"

Yn clutched his arm "please... they'll hurt me" Shubham's protective instincts kicked in. Without hesitation, he extended his hand towards the bride. "Stay behind. I will make sure you're safe".

Slowly, Yn placed her trembling hand in Shubman's. He gently led her away, behind the car so that she didn't get hurt while he took care of those goons.

Shubman peeked around the car, spotting a group of men rapidly approaching. They looked aggressive and determined to catch the bride.

Without a second thought, Shubman swiftly stepped forward, confronting the oncoming men. His demeanor became intense and focused as he prepared himself for potential confrontation.

"Hey, what's going on?" Shubman challenged the men, his voice unwavering yet calm.

The men hesitated for a moment, taken aback by Shubham's imposing presence. However, their determination quickly returned, and they surrounded Shubman, ready to force if necessary.

Shubman took a fighting stance, his matial arts training kicking in. He moved fluidly, utilising his skills to keep the men at bay, all the while ensuring he didn't harm them too severely.

As the scuffle continued Shubman's movements became more precise and he avoided causing any serious injuries while im mobilizing his opponents enough to protect himself and yn.

Yn, peering from behind the car, witnessed Shubham's skillfull defence and found herself in awe. She had never seen someone so selflessly protect her, especially a stranger.

In a matter of minutes, Shubman quickly reflexes and expertise in combat finally overpowered the men. They lay on the ground, subdued and incapable of causing any harm.

Panting lightly, Shubman turned to Yn with reassuring smile. " Don't worry they won't bother you anymore. Are you alright?".

Yn's eye widened with gratitude as she nodded, her voice filled with relief. "Thankyou so much".

Shubman remained composed, his attention still focused on ensuring their safety. " It's no problem. Just make sure to safe now. Do you want me to drop you home".

Yn's eye widened, and she shook her head vigorously, her gaze shifting to her ruined bridal attire. "I...I don't have anywhere to go".

" What the- fine, come with me," he said, turning to go inside hotel. Shubman stopped in his track when she didn't follow him. " I literally saved your life, and you still don't believe me. I promise I am not a bad guy! Now come, or do you want them to take you back?"

Hearing his words, she immediately followed him in.

As they walked, Shubman couldn't help but to notice the way she bite her lower lip, her arms sticking to her sides, showing how scared she was.
