Yeah, I guess people say life as you know it is great and simple. That's not true. It's overall pretty ordinary. Well, other than the drafts, the people dying, worldwide diseases, and etc. etc. you get the picture. If I could describe this world right now in one world, I would say probably cruel. Of course there's other words to but lets not waste our time on that.
To get things started, I am Rain Summits. My brother, Forrest, and I (yes yes I know, I know, RainForest! Hah! Hilarious!) grew up in law district. Every part of this country (which remains unnamed since 2016) is divided into different parts. There's dance district, doctor district, law district, military district, peasant district, and so forth. There's districts for just about every career and job.
In this country, you can't switch districts, well, at least not legally. There was a draft for a war against Canada. Anyone from any district could be picked, well actually mainly men. My brother Forrest and I found a way to make it to the military district for we could see our father. After our father left, we were on our own.
Our mother had died due to an assassination by one of her clients in the law district. So after my dad left, we had nobody.
Come to find out, 11 months into the war (about 21 days until my father comes home), my father went MIA (missing in action). My father was not found until the war was over, which the war was 4 years long. No, my father was not found alive, he was captured and starved in a prision camp.
After awhile, my brother and I moved on. It was hard since i was 14 and my brother was 17, our mother died 10 years earlier. We found jobs, bought an apartment, and provided for ourselves. All was well. Once I turned 18, I decided to stay in the military district with Forrest.
At age 18 and a half I got married to a handsome young man named Bruno. Now we've been married 3 years. Forrest was never drafted but we all still remain in the military district. He got married and has one kid, Allei, shes 2 and another on the way.
I guess you could say I'm pretty content with my life in a way. I have a perfect husband and a close to perfect life. Being a married 21 year old woman was pretty uncommon, usually people got married at 15.
Well. This will take awhile
