"..NO!.."

During the past year after the day of the check-up at the doctor's, the Bakugou-Kirishima household had changed drastically from playful & happy to quiet & tension-filled. Katsuro hardly spoke, unless it was a question given for a single answer, it caused Bakugou to become highly protective in fear his kid might run off again like he did at the hospital. Whilst he was keeping vigilant, Kirishima was taking on multiple shifts at work causing him to become very worn out & tired; Katsuro had been crying during the nights because he would suffer from nightmares, which were related to his quirk's situation but because he didn't answer questions or speak properly, his parents were only able to figure out one factor about the reoccurring nightmares to which they call 'The Q'. Overnights and nights of tireless observing, Katsuki became sleep-deprived as he watched over Katsuro ensuring he was okay whenever those nightmares occurred, this worried Kirishima to no extent, to the point he had contacted Deku and begged him to put Bakugou on house-arrest for his own safety, it wasn't good to have a hero half-awake during missions. Izuku offered to help whenever the pair were struggling, including all their other friends at HA (Hero Assistance) Headquarters. However due to Katsuki's stubbornness, he refused help from anyone because he was addiment that he could handle his own child and their needs, he hadn't needed anyone's help beforehand and he doesn't need it now. Or at least, so he had thought.

Eventually during those seven months Eijirou had booked a sparring session, despite Katsuki arguments and protests, he finally agreed to allow Tsuyu to babysit Katsuro, to which she would teach Katsuro about the joys of being a waterfront heroine and her memories of training with the younger blonde's parents, and yes, Katsuro listened to every word taking unfazed inspiration. Meanwhile during the battle between Eijirou and Katsuki, with each blast, punch and thought-out movement, Bakugou soon began to slip up on his quick feet and thinking style, causing Kirishima to land a full blown gut wrenching punch to Bakugou's stomach, causing the blonde to fall to his knees with a cough. Eijirou hadn't even used his quirk, yet still knitted his eyebrows together, dropping to his knees about to apologise until his husband lifted his head, tears had built up as he held his stomach, "it's okay, you got me fair and square... but..." Katsuki gets caught up on his words, "...I..." He grumbles not enjoying the emotions building within his core, "...shit..." However a gentle hand was placed onto Katsuki's shoulder, each husband sharing a look that spoke more than words can say, then finally Bakugou broke down allowing his emotions to run wild & free, tears streaming down his face as he collapsed in Kirishima's arms, whom happily comforted his distressed husband, this made their love and bond stronger for each other as they worked to make a plan that would hopefully help Katsuro open up to them again. The plan was simple and the rule of Family First was made, Bakugou and Kirishima would switch back and forth from hero duty to parent duty, home-schooling Katsuro for the rest of his pre-school year until Kirishima & Bakugou knew sought it best to return Katsuro back to an educational and professional building. The routine set was Katsuki stayed home for a week then returned to work every other week, vice-versa for Eijirou, if both parents were required to be at work then they would call an off-duty friend to babysit Katsuro and setting timed updates, dependant on their shift that day, to which Tsuyu, Amajiki and Togata were their best choices. Throughout the night shifts, dependant on who was at work that day, one or the other would sleep with Katsuro in his bedroom, and when both are home they would have their Katsuro sleep with them in their bed, giving all three of them that sense of comfort and stability. This helps build Katsuro's personality traits of caring, acknowledgment and empathy to become strong within his future.
