Nari's cellphone vibrates in her pocket, signifying that she has a call coming through. Who could that be? She stops and wipes at her tear-streaked face before answering the call, not even bothering to read the caller ID.

"Hello?" she sniffles a bit, beginning her walk towards home again. A slightly concerned masculine voice answers her back with a hello of his own. I don't remember giving my number to any of the guys in dance class other than Hayato... who is this?

Her question gets answered when he clears his throat and speaks again. "Sorry if now is a bad time. I am calling on behalf of JYPE; my name is Christopher Bahng. You are... Kim Nari?"

That name sounds familiar... "Now is an okay time, and yes, that is me. May I help you with something? Did I do something wrong?"

Nari shakes her head, more tears threatening to spill, as she gets into the elevator and presses the button for the third floor of the complex. "If I did, I am terribly sorry, sir. It won't happ-"

The concern in the man's voice returns, his tone somewhat soothing now. "Hey, hey. It's okay, Nari. You did absolutely nothing wrong. To be honest, you have been doing everything right."

Nari stays silent, her thoughts whirling around in circles as she stops in front of the door of her apartment and puts in the code. The electronic lock lets out a small beep to let her know it unlocked. There is no way this man is serious right now. Though he does sound like it, strangely enough.

He lets out a small chuckle before continuing on. "I was calling to let you know that you will be debuting as a soloist in the next few months to a year. Congratulations!"

She turns the knob and opens the door, setting her things down on the table next to the entrance before shutting it. She walks into the living room to sit on the couch. The words he said don't fully register right away, her brain not seeming to comprehend the words.

"Wait, wait, wait... really?" Nari's voice is small, but excited. She lightly pinches herself, to make sure she is awake, not dreaming. Is this guy serious? "No way... are you sure you have the right person, Mr. Bahng?"

"Please, call me Christopher or Chris." he lets out a little sigh. "It is perfectly alright if you speak more comfortably."

"And... yes, I am sure that I called the right person." Chris smiles, asking before just switching languages. "Is it alright if we speak in English? I feel like that would be more comfortable, would it not?"

Nari nods her head, agreeing. "Yes, that would be much more comfortable, sir." she giggles, covering her mouth before apologizing. "Oh, sorry. I meant Chris."

He laughs as well, the smile still evident in the way his voice sounds. "No need to be sorry, Nari."

She is slightly taken aback by another Australian accent, but her excitement overpowers her nervousness. "Oh my gosh, you're an Aussie, too!?" Nari shakes her head, mentally scolding herself for practically screaming.

Chris just laughs again, seeming not to care about her loudness. "Yep, raised in Sydney! So is one of my close friends. Us three and six others will actually be collaborating on one, possibly a few, of the songs on your debut album. Fun, right?"

She bobs her head excitedly, still a bit giddy but manages to calmly speak. "I was raised there, too. My closest friend, whom I haven't seen in years, used to go to the same school as me before he moved to Seoul to pursue his dreams." I only just texted him a few months ago, and he said that he's doing alright, just really busy with work... I wonder if he became everything he was talking about before he left.
