You felt strangeMaybe because you were going to a new school or that you'd probably would meet another creepypasta today.
You skipped breakfast, feeling a loss of appetite. Your father had gone to his new job and you felt proud of him.
You pet Jimmy goodbye and went on your merry way to your new school. The sun was warm, boosting up your happiness level by just a little.
The warm sun kissed your skin, Leaves slowly changing their color but mostly green. August.
Mom was killed in summer break and you come to a new school with a different way of thinking.
Just as you continued to walk, you came across a boy who was crouched on the ground, knees pulled close to his face.
Beside him was a handheld gaming console that you didn't know the name of.
Looked like a...3Ds?
You stood infront of him as curiosity got the best of you. The shade over him made him lift his head up in curiosity as well.
"Are you...okay?" You genuinely asked, realizing the busted lip and bruises he had.
He looked around before blankly picking up his console, looking for any damages made.
His eyes finally then looked up to yours. You awkwardly stuck out your hand and he took it.
You hoisted him up and there were no words spoken yet. He immediately turned on his console and began to play.
Mindlessly walking next to you, his blonde hair glowing with the rising sun's glare.
It was a strange silence but you assumed he didn't feel the same way, in fact, he was probably comfortable with the silence.
He let out an angry huff, roughly pressed a couple buttons and put his console away.
He held a defeated face for a minute before fully taking note of your presence. "who are you?"
"Y/n l/n...and you?"
"Benjamin lawman. Aren't you that new kid?"
You immediately looked away when he mentioned his name. You knew who he was, If the games and hair didn't make it obvious, the name now did.
You were reluctant to answer his question but it was rude not to, he hadn't done anything wrong.
"...Yeah, friends talking about me in school?" You wondered and he visibly frowned.
"..just overheard some classmates..."
You hummed. The quiet walk continued until you finally arrived at the front doors of the school.
He wanted to say something, Cleary arguing with himself whether he should or shouldn't speak.
"..do you need help getting to your classes?" He looked up to you but quickly looked away once eye contact was made.
"Yeah thanks, That'd be nice..." You replied. His face seemed to brighten up for a moment before he went back to a bored expression.
He went ahead of you, leading you quietly to the first class on your schedule.
He stopped and pointed to a door. "This is your stop," He told you. Before you could walk in, He raised his voice slightly.
"Wait!" He looked away nervously when he noticed how loud his tone was. "Um...would you like to eat lunch with me today?"
He gave you a hope-filled glance, One that could only make you wonder about him.
