The episode starts at Amaya's house where the aforementioned was finished packing up her things before heading out for another dreadful school day. As she rushed her way down to leave, her aunt was in the kitchen doing some paperwork for an upcoming office meeting.
Amaya: "Morning Auntie! I'm heading to school now!"
Ms. Takahashi: "Okay, hunny! Good luck!"
Just as Amaya was about to head out, her aunt suddenly called out her name, likely to tell her something important.
Ms. Takahashi: "Oh, Amaya! There's something I need to tell you."
Amaya: "Sure, what is it?"
Ms. Takahashi: *sighs* "Okay... how do I say this... *inhales*... Your cousins as well as my sister are coming over for holidays."
Amaya: "Your sister... as in my other aunt who disowned me for being..."
Ms. Takahashi: "Unfortunately, yes."
Amaya: *groans* "Seriously?! And she had the audacity to bring her four kids who are ALSO my cousins by the way, all the way from Japan to here?! Seriously!? I mean, I don't hate my cousins except for... her BUT— *groans* C'mon, now!"
Ms. Takahashi: "Amaya, I know how you feel. Believe me, I hate my sister as well. Every single time, she always tries to 1-up me but... heh, unfortunately for her, I'm always number 1. I mean, I've always been the favorite kid and all but... *sighs* that woman never changed her way."
Amaya: "Heh... I know how you feel."
Ms. Takahashi: "Ah yes... I still remember when you and your cousin were younger. That girl always tried to beat you to first place but either luck has been with you, you always beat her."
Amaya: "And she ends up crying. Heh, I remember it all."
Ms. Takahashi: "Heh, yeah... *realises* Amaya! You're gonna be late for school!"
Amaya: "Oh shoot! Your right! Gotta go now, Auntie!"
Ms. Takahashi: "Bye, Amaya!"
Just as Amaya reached out to open the door, she turned around and saw her aunt continuing with her paperwork, as if nothing has ever bothered her. Before Amaya was about to head out, she spoke.
Amaya: "Auntie."
Ms. Takahashi: "Yes, dear?"
Amaya: "I... I love you."
Ms. Takahashi: *smiles* "I love you, too."
And then Amaya left the house, quietly slamming the door shut, leaving her aunt alone with a smile on her face that slowly faded as she continued with her work once again.

Just as Amaya walked away from her home, she began thinking about her other aunt that she disliked a lot as well as her four cousins. Now, she doesn't hate her cousins at all except for one of them as mentioned above whom Amaya hates a lot for unknown reasons. She still doesn't understand why they even decided to come over to Tarabiscoville in the first place anyway. Just as negative thoughts slowly began to fill up her mind, she heard someone calling out her name.
Connor: "Amaya!"
Amaya: "Oh? Hey guys! How are you!?"
Greg: "Everything's alright. And you?"
Amaya: "I wish. My cousins and least favorite aunt are coming over for the holidays."
Connor: "Oh? Already in Japan?"
Greg: "Lucky..."
Amaya: "Yeah I know but still, I really don't want those guys near me... especially her."
Connor: "Are you doing a Season 1 reference?"
Greg: "You do know that "her" we were whispering about was An Yu, right? No one needs to know that anyone... not as if anyone even reads these books."
Amaya: "Yeah I know but what I mean by "her" I mean the leader of my cousins!"
Connor: "Couldn't you just refer to her by her civilian name instead?"
Amaya: "Uhh... no duh! *rolls eyes* I don't what to say that b*tch's name!"
Greg: "Woah! Beruhige dich, Amaya! We were just saying."
Amaya: *sighs* "I'm sorry... I guess I'm just... a little annoyed about these news... especially since... *almost tears up* how she treated me when I was younger... *cries a little*
Connor: "Hey, shhhh... it's okay calm down... if you, we can talk about this later."
Greg: "And if your cousin even thinks about hurting you again: then I'll ASSF*CK her until she's bloated!"
Connor: "Woah, Greg! Calm down!" *tries not to laugh*
Amaya: "Woah! *chuckles* Calm your horses down! *tries to maintain laughter* Heh heh but seriously... thanks for your support. I'm glad to have friends like you."
Greg: "Heh, anytime, Amaya."
After Amaya began to calm down a bit, she slowly walked towards Connor and Greg before closing her eyes and giving them a small hug that was a little bit tight. The two of them, somewhat surprised by this act felt touched by it and hugged her back in return, closing their eyes as well. As the trio were embracing each other, they also felt a bit of hope emerging out of them as well. Just as Amaya slowly began to open her eyes, she was shocked to see what was in front of her.
