Chapter 35

Y/n's Pov

It's been a couple of days since I slept over at Bakugo's house. Let's just say the day after it happened when I met with Aizawa again he wasn't... the most cheerful person. Who am I kidding he was livid and he wanted to ground me forever and take away all of my electronics. Knowing him he would've actually done it so I took every threat he threw at me seriously. The only way I saved myself was by telling him his mother insisted I stayed because of how late it was and I slept in a guest room. I also reminded him that I texted him where I was the night of so he wouldn't worry. It took a lot of convincing and a lot of holding down with the help of Yamada to finally calm him down. I'm glad that scary and awkward time of my life is over.

I was at school and we all were just talking about how we placed on the midterms. Based on how I did I was fourth in the class while Bakugo was third and he didn't miss the opportunity to rub it in my face. When he did it though it didn't feel like his usual taunting, it more so felt as if he wanted to show off how smart he was to me.

"Hey princess we just wanted to ask you something," Kaminari said as him and Mina walked over interrupting Bakugo and I's conversation.

I looked at him waiting to see what he wanted while Bakugo had on a facial expression that was clear as day he was already starting to see red because he's annoyed.

"Oh um what is it?"

As soon as I gave him that reply Mina and him dropped to their knees and clasped their hands together. They looked desperate and looked on the verge of begging as a dog does with food. It honestly concerned me with how sudden the motion was.

"Please, please tutor us! We'll do anything," they said in unison desperately as if they have everything riding on me saying yes.

I knew why they dramatically asking me like this. Even though I feel more comfortable and used to my classmates now I'm still not a 100 percent with any of them. The only two people I'm completely comfortable with are Bakugo and Midoriya. I know it's ridiculous for me to still feel that way even if it's a little bit considering everything else I've been through but I can't help it. I won't give them a hard time though but I still have hope there is someone else they can ask.

"I thought you were going to ask Yaoyorozu. What happened with that?"

Why does he have a nervous look on his face?

"Well he changed his mind and wanted to ask you instead because he has a cru-"

"Um because Yaoyorozu already had a lot of people asking her! So I didn't want to bother her!" Kaminari said quickly covering Ashido's mouth.

There is obviously something going on here that I'm not picking up on...

Even though I felt there was something going on I was thinking about how I should respond. Before I could complete my thoughts Jiro and Sero walked over to us.

"What's going on guys?" Jiro asked.

Kaminari was about to put his arm around me but before he could Bakugo for some reason gave him a look immediately making Kaminari put a stop to his own actions.

"Well our sweet Y/n over here was about to tutor Ashido and I," Kaminari said putting on a sweet smile as he looked at me because he knew I didn't actually say yes.
