The Audition

Authors note: I will try to distinguish when a character is speaking English or Korean. Because both Jay and the OC are native English speakers it is necessary to know when there is the switch. Anything written in English will be shown in bold. I hope you enjoy the first chapter.

Baek MinHee a.k.a Minnie sucked in a deep breath, her hands already beginning to tremble and she hadn't even done anything yet. Fiddling with the charm on her Pandora bracelet, she tried to remember why she was here in the first place. Oh yeah, she was trying out for Show Me the Money 4.Yes that's right the competitive rap show where the winner could earn a lot of money. The raven haired girl could feel all eyes on her as she stood there in cream colored sweater, mint skirt, tan oxford wedged boots, and mint scarf. A mint ribbon holding her hair back in a ponytail to reveal the small silver earrings gracing her lobes, cartilage, and conch. It was clear she was of a different breed. She tried her best to focus on her rap, but hearing her male competitors talk about what they would like to do to a girl like her made her cringe.

"Yeah man I would just bend her over the table grip that hair and just give it to her, turn that preppy little bitch into my sex slave."

"Yeah I'm sure she's a virgin, nice and fucking tight..."

Rolling her eyes, she knew they were all talk. Their dicks were probably the size of a cigarette, not remotely big enough to make her cum, let alone beg them for more. "Eyes on the prize Minnie" she thought licking her lips.

Managing to hear a loud girlish scream not to far from her, she turned to spot a line of girls with large cameras taking pictures of some celebrity that was also trying out. Rolling her eyes, she was about to go back to her thoughts when she heard her name.

"Baek MinHee!!"

Turning back around, MinHee kept a straight face as the overly exuberant male approached her.

"Hey girl friend!" Lee Hyun Woo said in his best Engrish possible only receiving a glare from the pretty girl.

"If you want to speak English, don't be a stereotype. It only makes you look racist." She replied in her native language of English, watching the males face contort in confusion.

"Come on don't be like that" he pouted looping his arm around her shoulders.

"Ah Ah! Hajima~~~!" She hollered squirming away from his arm. " I stand out enough as it is don't make it worse, pretty boy." Minnie swore she could hear HyunWoo's fan girls getting itchy with the slight "skinship" he had given to her.The pains of having an actor as your brother.Well, adopted brother.Either way he was a pain in MinHee's side.Although Min spoke fluent English, Hyun pretty much had only known common phrases or whatever she had taught him.

At the age of 9, MinHee and her parents moved from the U.S. to Korea (Min being born in America). MinHee had never been the same, crying herself to sleep every night, her parents felt that she needed a sibling to protect and help her. Her parents had adopted HyunWoo hoping having him as a big brother would be good for the little girl.Instead she was stuck with Hyun who had starred in one drama causing him to be the hottest commodity in Korea.
