Seyon parks the car a few blocks away from Aran's house. He drove them here, whizzing through the traffic as if he were an F1 racer. Thiya can't help but cringe at the way they jumped the signal at a junction where the traffic signals were malfunctioning and the police were busy dealing with the other side of the four-way.
"Reckless as always, Seyon. Be glad we were not chased down by police."

Seyon detects a new fondness in her voice as she chastises him. Thiya notices it herself and lets out a soft sigh. She's in love with Seyon after all. What are his feelings? Throwing out his cigarettes, asking her to partner with him on the case? Waving to her while leaving her house, all the marriage talks before Nair uncle. Ha, it's all irrelevant when they're on duty.
As per Soham and Mira's update who have gone to fill in for Ramya and Ulla, Aran isn't home but at the Orion Studios. The lot has a collective message — Aran is busy filming action scenes with Kavya again. The two are friendlier than ever.
Seyon removes his blazer and puts it in the car's driver's seat. Thiya does the same at his insistence. She holds his arm as he begins to walk towards Aran's home. They lock eyes. She pulls her hand away.
"Seyon, the cameras! Remember, Aran is a tech geek? Don't you think we have to watch out for the cameras? We don't want him to know we are onto him, right? That's how we can surprise him. He shouldn't know we're still inquiring if he's our Asterix. Right?"
Thiya feels silly going into so much detail. Seyon nods with kind eyes, free of judgment. Thiya looks away from that gaze, reminding herself to be professional, and pulls out her tablet. "I will try disabling any cameras he set up."
Even as she works, she can't help but think Seyon is looking at her with the same affection as back when they were together, which speeds up her heart rate and affects her concentration. It's a minor inconvenience, nothing too significant.

Seyon looks away and chuckles, once again picking up on the subtle cues in Thiya's body language. Since that day at her place, there has been a sweet awkwardness between them. This morning, he was surely thinking of jumping in and taking Aran into custody. He was lost in thoughts as Soham made him sit but still was attentive to the guy's conversation with Thiya. Clever guy, that Soham, roping in Thiya for the task. Any other means of persuasion wouldn't have worked. Not even Soham trying it.
