In the bustling classroom, tension crackled in the air as the students poured over their textbooks, their minds focused on the upcoming exam. At the back of the room, amidst the rows of desks, two figures stood locked in a heated debate.

Mahi Ahmed and Salar Sikander, both known for their sharp wit and contrasting opinions, found themselves embroiled in yet another argument. Mahi, with her fiery determination, argued passionately for stricter environmental regulations, while Salar, with a cocky smirk, countered her points with his belief in the free market's ability to self-regulate.

Their voices clashed like thunder in the confined space, drawing the attention of their classmates and the weary gaze of their teacher, who desperately tried to restore order to the classroom.

Mahi's eyes flashed with frustration as she slammed her hand down on the desk, "You can't seriously believe that! The environment is on the brink of collapse, and all you care about is profit margins?"

Salar leaned back in his chair, crossing his arms defiantly, "Look, Mahi, I get where you're coming from, but you can't regulate every aspect of industry. Sometimes, the market needs room to breathe."

Their argument escalated, each retort more impassioned than the last, until finally, their teacher intervened, sending them both to opposite ends of the room with a warning glare.

But even as they sat in silence, their eyes still sparked with defiance, a silent challenge lingering between them.

Their classmates exchanged knowing glances, sensing the tension dissipating like fog in the morning sun. And as Mahi and Salar exchanged a tentative smile, they both realized that perhaps, just perhaps, there was more to their relationship than met the eye.

Next day

As the school morning began, Mahi hurried through the bustling halls, a stack of textbooks cradled in her arms. Lost in thought, she rounded a corner and collided with someone, sending her papers flying.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed, bending down to gather her scattered belongings.

"No worries," a voice replied, and when Mahi looked up, she found herself face to face with Salar, a fellow student known for his quick wit and sharp tongue.

Their eyes locked for a moment, an unspoken challenge passing between them. Despite their differences, there was something undeniably intriguing about the way they clashed.

"Watch where you're going next time," Salar teased, offering her a hand up.

"I was but tum mere samne the ankhe khol ke chala karo," she retorted back.

"Sure sure" he smiled.

Reaching the classroom Mahi was a bit scared as today their teacher was suppose to hand in their results as she entered the class she sat down and saw him coming inside aswell sitting behind her as he winked at her she rolled her eyes.

"Acha bacho I am handing back your papers I have graded them please refrain from fighting and glaring"

As she emphasis on the word glaring and hands Salar and Mahi their tests.

As the class received back their graded essays on Shakespearean sonnets. As they eagerly flipped through their papers, analyzing every comment and correction, a spark of competitiveness ignited between them.

With a sly grin, Mahi looked at her back already seeing Salar already glaring at her .

"Kitne mily babu bhaiya?" she taunted.

"Tum se matlab?"

"Obviously matlab hein to pochungi na" she smirked.

He showed her the paper and a big 97 was written on his test paper upset he pulled it back before she could make fun of him.

"Aww pata hein mughe kitne mily hein? pooray 99 marks she smirked."

He rolled his eyes at her comment when one of the class bully asked Salar how much he got and when he replied the bully started laughing .

" Abey sharam kar le Mahi ko tugh se ziyada mily hein yar larki se haar gaya " he smirked.

Mahi looked around to spot her teacher when she was nowhere to been seen and smirked at the opportunity, and asked him "tughe kitne mily?" to which he shuttered and replied 89 when of his friends said.

"Jhoot bol raha hein he got a 49" his friend told her.

The bully flushed in embarrassment when Mahi replied with a "Abey sharam kar ly pass bhi nahi huwa jahil insan" she laughed and looked at Salar who was already looking at a silent thankyou passed between their eyes.
