Y/n's POV
"Sweetheart." A hushed whisper jolted me out of my sleep. I shot up with a gasp. "You're okay. You're good." JJ said, taking a seat next to me, stroking my hair. "Where are the boys?" I said with wide eyes. The fear of me losing their prized possessions settled deep in my stomach. The thought of what they can do to me lingering in my head.
"Emily took them to bed. You guys have to stop having sleepovers on the couch." She laughed. I choked out a nervous laugh, running my hands down my face. "How was work?" I asked, looking up at her. "Ugh don't even want to talk about that. How was school?" She asked, cocking an eyebrow. "It was okay. Definitely school. But I mean I am graduating in two weeks." I shrugged with a small smile.
"Gossiping without me?" Emily smirked standing at the top of their grand staircase. "No." I laughed. Ms. Jareau reminded her of my high school years ending soon, while I watched.
I work for Emily and Jennifer, the biggest mafia leaders in the world. When I first saw this ad show up in the news I paid no attention to it, until I got the news that my parents and I couldn't afford my college tuition. The next week I was meeting them for lunch. I wore a black pleated skirt and a white button up blouse with a black blazer over-top. Also sporting my knock-off Versace platforms from Amazon.
I straightened my posture while talking to them, because I'm sure they could tell I was visually terrified. Jennifer had perfect, shiny blonde beach waves, her makeup was intense in the eyes but gentle. Emily on the other hand was the total opposite. She wore an intimidating grin on her face, her dark tattoos peeking out her suit jacket. After a few days of talking to them, I was hired.
At first I did not know how I was gonna be able to work around them. They were terribly attractive and made me feel incredibly small. Walking into their huge house made me nervous, not that they were gonna kill me (kinda), but that I'll slip up and confess my love to them or something.
The next few days I had officially met their boys, and fell in love. Henry and Michael are the cutest things alive. We all connected quickly. I still get shocked over their house- mansion, excuse me.
Very big and spacious. Nicely decorated and homey.
"Y/n you still there?" Emily asked, snapping her fingers and I flinched. "Sorry." I mumbled looking down. "Everything okay? Did anybody hurt you?" She said quickly, making her way towards me. Jennifer following.
"No no. I'm fine, just tired still." I sighed looking down at my watch. "I should get going anyway." I said, peeling the blanket off of my legs standing up. A soft hand grabbed my wrist. "I don't think that's an option baby." Emily said, looking at me. "What? Why not?" I questioned. Jennifer softly grasped my hips guiding me to their floor to ceiling window.
"Shit. My car." I sighed watching the snow fall. My car is damn near falling apart. I don't have the funds to get a new one yet. Emily and Jennifer pay me more than enough but that's all going towards my tuition. "You're gonna have to let it go soon or later Y/n." Emily said, rubbing my shoulder. "She's right. You can't go to college in that." Jennifer huffed.
"I should call my mom." I said sadly. "Don't worry. I called already." Emily smiled. "Oh."
"Are you hungry?" She smiled.

I finished the rest of my pasta, wiping my mouth. Standing I collected all of our plates walking them over to the sink. "You don't have to do that Y/n." Emily said. "I know." I replied, shaking my head. "I don't mind."
