The amount of fear Jisung feels when he hears the knock on his door is instantly overwhelming, has him stunned, frozen in place and holding onto his blanket for dear life. Because who would even come here this late? Jisung cannot even remember giving out his address to anyone other than what he has had to fill out in different types of legal documents after moving. But he never has any visitors, nor has he intended to have any anytime soon either.

His mind goes back to his mother's message from earlier in the day and he gasps, gulps afterwards in mere fear. Because if Soohyuk really was in the city, he would be crazy enough to try and find him too if he wanted to, right? Maybe not for love, but obsession, power, the mere knowledge of how terrified and weak Jisung would be if he appeared in front of him.

But Jisung has options. It is not even that late into the night yet, still earlier than Jisung's usual bedtime. Felix simply made sure to have him tucked in early on so he could properly rest. Felix, whose number is on the fridge. All Jisung needs to do is to walk to his kitchen, call Felix and ask him for help. Help being anything from checking who is out there to actually coming over to maybe spend another minute or so with Jisung. He is fairly certain Felix is not sleeping yet either. So at least he would not have to feel bad for potentially having woken the man up because of his own fears.

He grabs his phone and hurries towards the kitchen, quick to catch sight of the green post it note on the fridge. He is just about halfway through typing in Felix's number, when there is another knock on the door, much like the first.

"Jisung?", he hears, holding his breath as he blinks to himself, tries to figure out if he has identified the voice calling out to him through his door properly or not. "I know you're not sleeping yet. Can you please let me in?"

Jisung sighs out in relief, leaves his phone on the counter and takes quick steps towards his front door, opening it without feeling the need to look through the peephole anymore. When he finally opens the door, he sighs out once again, huffing out in total relief at having guessed his visitor's identity right despite his immense fear and the muffled voice coming through the door.

"My god, Felix, you scared me shitless! I thought you were someone else.", Jisung says, huffing right after, "Did you forget something? Sorry I didn't answer the door sooner but-ugh!"

Felix has him pulled against himself in no time, air knocked out of Jisung's lungs from the collision of their chests. His arms are awkwardly staying in strange positions. One of them just by his side, trapped between himself and Felix's arm, while the other is still up in the air from previously holding onto the door. The way Felix is holding onto him for dear life has Jisung worried instantly. He pushes the door close with his hovering hand, then wiggles the other one too to wrap both his arms around his neighbor, hugging him back almost as tightly.

Something must have happened, right? He figures it must have. Of course. Because Felix seems to really not be okay and Jisung truly wonders what could have possibly happened in the minutes they were apa-

"S-sorry, I just- you- I couldn't just stay at home and I just don't fucking know why I couldn't at least think about this more before coming over, but-"

"Felix-"

"I don't even know what to say but I have to say something or I'll go crazy. Like, there's too many coincidences for this to not mean anything. If it is, I think I am going to be more embarrassed than ever before, but I just... how do I even start? I should have made a proper plan, but no, Lixie acted on impulse and now you think I'm insane, right?", Felix keeps on rambling, squeezing the still very confused and worried Jisung impossibly tighter and taking a deep breath before whispering the rest of what he has to say: "Of course you do. You must."
