Sitting on your rooftop, minutes before midnight was not how you wanted to spend your time, but had you any choice? Your parents chose to fight like cats and dogs; it could be heard all throughout the house, so the quietest place you could find was the roof. "Just a normal Sunday night..." You murmured to yourself in exasperation before putting in your earbuds and clicking shuffle on your playlist, this wasn't odd to you, unfortunately you were used to finding random secluded places in the house to drown out your parents voices. Suddenly a vibration in your hand cut off your thoughts, your phone was ringing. Bringing it up to view, the caller ID said: Tiana, with pink hearts on either side. Smiling, you hit the answer button, your best friend was sure to cheer you up right?

"Y/N~ Happy Birthday!" Her voice rang out the usual cheery tone you came to love, unable to contain your laughter you couldn't help but feel a sense of irony, how had you not realized the clock struck twelve? It's a good thing you weren't Cinderella. "Thanks T, you're actually the first one to say that." You replied, your smile faltering as you remember the verbal war going on downstairs. Tiana notices this and makes no motion to hide her displeasure, "Again?" she asked in an annoyed tone. She was no stranger to your parents' battles, she's the one that would usually stay up past twelve to answer your calls in case they woke you up.

She clicks her tongue in annoyance, "Forget them. It's your special day- or night in this case, just wait until morning when I get there, we're going to shop till we drop, eat cake, and you're going to spend your fifteenth birthday smiling! Is that clear cadet?" She said in a joking commander voice which made you laugh and salute her. "Yes ma'am."

You looked up at the sky taking in the fresh night air, "You know what I want the most for my Birthday, T?" You asked in a silly tone as you looked down at the screen. "No? What??" Tiana replied with a smile. "To be in Star Wars." You said with a mischievous smirk before chuckling. Tiana laughed along, "Don't we both? They're making all this new fancy technology, they should make something where you can be in a simulation of your favorite show." She said with a dream-like sigh, leaning on her hand. "I think you and I will be old and gray by the time that happens." You retort with a smile, seeing her scoff. "Yes yes, of course, you gotta admit, the nursing home will be lit though." Tiana grinned, her statement causing you to laugh before you caught something glinting in the night out of the corner of your eye. Was that...?

"Hey T, I think I just saw a shooting star." You said with a little sigh of amazement. "Ooh! That's a good omen! Hurry, make a wish!" She exclaimed excitedly. You rolled your eyes, "You know I don't believe in that stuff, besides I got everything I need here." You replied with a smile. Watching her grin she blows a playful kiss to the screen as you blow one back at her. "As much as I'd love to stay and prove to you how wishing on shooting stars is true, I got dishes to do before my mom yells at me." She says with a mocking pained expression as she puts her hand over her heart dramatically, "Until the morning my friend! Happy B-day." You laugh at her antics and put your own hand on your head in a faint position.

"Until the morning, thanks." With that, Tiana hangs up as you watch the screen go black. You sigh once more, looking back up at the night sky as you lay down on the blanket you had previously set up. "Wishing on stars... yeah right." You said quietly and closed your eyes, Just a quick rest.

I crack open my eyes, groaning. I attempt to adjust to the sudden light. Did I fall asleep on the roof? If so then why do I feel a bed underneath me? Sitting up, I stretch out my arms before gasping as I take in my surroundings.

This isn't my room?! I begin to panic as I throw the blanket off of me and jump up onto my feet. I looked down at myself, I knew for a fact I didn't fall asleep in these clothes... I don't even own anything like this! Great. So not only am I possibly kidnapped, I was changed by some sicko too! My mind was going into mass panic mode, where was I? How do I get home? Suddenly I hear a robotic voice.

"Mx Y/N! Time to wake up!" ...How the heck does it know my name?! Hurriedly sprinting to the door, I push it closed with my body. "Uh... I'll be out in a minute!" I call out nervously, hoping that whatever it was would have a sense of respect for privacy. I let out a sigh of relief as I hear metallic footsteps get further away, slumping down on the floor I try to gather my thoughts. Alright... I'm in a totally different place, some robot thing knows my name and it's also respectful??

Sighing, I look up and truly take in the room for the first time. It didn't look like a normal room, at least not one that someone with an average salary could afford anyway. It was decently sized with the bed I previously woke up against a wall, there were several shelves that adorned trinkets and books while the rest of the walls were decorated with different kinds of posters.

Although one stood out to me the most, "Join The Royal Imperial Academy Today!" My eyes widened, it couldn't be.
Where could someone get that authentic Star Wars poster? Ah, that's it, I must be dreaming. I thought to myself, before hearing a shuffling noise in the corner. Immediately standing up, I backed away from the area which I heard the noise from, grabbing the closest object near me which happened to be, "A hairbrush?" I asked myself in exasperation before shrugging it off and holding it in a defensive position.

"Whoever or whatever you are... come out now!" I said, trying to appear threatening, which clearly wasn't working. It was silent for a few moments so I thought whatever was there was gone, that was until something jumped out from absolutely nowhere.

I yelled out in shock, almost throwing the brush at it until I paused when I realized just what it was. "There's no way..." I whispered, but the very offended meow proved to be real. "A Loth Cat?" I said in a shocked tone as I stare down upon the alien cat who just meowed in response. "That's impossible... for you to be a Loth Cat than that would mean-" Pausing my own words, I look back and forth between the poster and the Loth Cat before dropping the hairbrush on the ground in realization. "I'm in Star Wars...!"
