The day began with a torrential downpour that showed no signs of stopping. The relentless rain drummed against the windows of the agency, creating a constant background noise that added to the already hectic atmosphere inside. The storm had caused numerous incidents across the city—traffic accidents, minor floods, and a slew of weather-related emergencies. As a result, the agency was buzzing with activity, heroes and support staff rushing about to handle the influx of calls.

You navigated through the crowded office, drenched heroes returning from missions and new assignments being handed out. The sound of urgent voices and the hum of communication devices filled the air.

" Tempest, can you handle the situation at the west side? There's some flooding near the residential areas," a coordinator called out to you, handing over a mission briefing.

You nodded, quickly reviewing the details before heading out. The day was a blur of activity, your Wind Quirk proving invaluable in managing the chaos the rain had brought. From clearing debris to assisting stranded citizens, you moved swiftly from one task to the next, barely having a moment to catch your breath.

As you finished helping an elderly couple navigate through a flooded street, your earpiece crackled to life with Bakugou's unmistakable voice. "Hey, Windy. I need you at 12th and Main. Got a situation here."

As you found Bakugou in the middle of a tense standoff with a group of looters taking advantage of the storm's chaos. They were armed and desperate, their eyes wild with fear and determination.

Bakugou's presence was imposing as ever, his hands already sparking with explosive power. "Took you long enough," he muttered into the earpiece, his eyes never leaving the looters.

Assessing the situation quickly, you activated your Wind Quirk, summoning a gust of wind to disarm the looters and push them back. The sudden force caught them off guard, and their weapons clattered to the ground.

Bakugou didn't waste a moment. He surged forward, using controlled blasts to incapacitate the looters without causing unnecessary harm. You moved in tandem, your wind currents guiding his blasts precisely, ensuring that none of the looters could escape.

Within minutes, the situation was under control. The looters were subdued and awaiting the arrival of the police, who were just now pulling up to the scene.

You and Bakugou glanced at each other, a silent understanding passing between you. Bakugou gave you a nod of acknowledgment, a rare gesture of respect that made you feel a surge of pride.

As the police took over, Bakugou stepped back under the cover of a nearby awning, looking visibly pissed off. The rain continued to pour, drenching everything in sight.

You followed him, raising an eyebrow. "The fuck's up with you, dude?"

Bakugou scowled, wiping rainwater from his face. "I hate the rain," he muttered, his voice filled with irritation. "It's cold, wet, and it makes everything a pain in the ass."

You couldn't help but chuckle at his bluntness. "Really? I kind of like it," you said, your voice filled with a soft fondness. "It's peaceful in a way. Plus, it smells nice."

He shot you a skeptical look, his usual intensity softened by the shared moment. "Peaceful? It's just wet and annoying."

You grinned, deciding to show rather than tell. Without a second thought, you stepped out into the rain, feeling the cool droplets cascade over you. You started jumping around, your laughter mixing with the sound of the falling rain.

"See? Isn't this fun?" you called out, spinning around with your arms wide open.

Bakugou watched you, his scowl fading slightly as he took in your carefree movements. There was something infectious about your joy, and despite himself, he felt a small smile tugging at the corners of his mouth.
