Apparently they were only gone for two days, David said, but Emma felt like months had passed. Upon arrival, Regina took Henry and Lucy to her place, and Emma had no choice but to return to her "home" that she shared with Killian. And here an unpleasant surprise was waiting for her. Her husband clearly didn't miss her when she found him in their bed with Tinkerbell. Maybe if she really loved him, it would affect her more than just another unpleasant disappointment from a loved one.

"Emma, wait!" Killian ran out of the house after her, pulling on his pants as he went. "Swan!" He finally caught up with her and grabbed her hand.

"What?" She said tiredly, now realizing she hadn't slept in days.

"You're leaving? You've been gone for two days, Swan! Go home!" Hook growled, increasing the pressure on her hands.

"You've found something else to do while I've been gone. Don't pretend, Killian. I've had enough. I'll divorce you."

"Because of one stupid mistake?!"

"It's more of a conscious choice and it's not the only reason... we should never have gotten married in the first place." Emma added, jerking her hand away.

"I thought you felt good! We can try again! I know how to please you." The man smiled cheekily at her.

"Oh come on! Grow up! You can't make me happy, not everything is about sex!"

"Because you never care! You don't care about my well-being! You're always gone and I'm sitting at home alone!"

"Because I'm working! You could try it too sometimes, instead of looking for adventure!" Emma burst out, seeing them attracting the attention of passersby, she said emphatically, "It's over, Hook."

She turned on her heel and left.

It was already dusk when she finally, after many hours of walking, went to the police station. It was the only place she could rest for now and ignore her mother's calls and Henry's text messages.

Two days passed and Emma hid from people. She asked David not to tell anyone that she was at the police station. The most persistent one was Killian, who walked around the city drunk, looking for her. The blonde knew it was time to face the world. She didn't change her mind about her marriage and David supported her. However, she was afraid of her mother's reaction. She preferred not to think about Regina. She buried her feelings for Madame Mayor deep for now. She had to deal with Hook first. On the way to her parents' house, she stopped by Archie and asked him to prepare divorce papers for her. The cricket seemed unsurprised by her request and promised to have the papers ready the next day, which Emma was grateful for. She also met with Belle, who operated Gold's store, and canceled the lease on the house, asking the girl to find her a small apartment. Finally gathering her courage, she went to her parents' house.

"Emma!" Snow White exclaimed, immediately pulling her in and hugging her. "We've been looking for you everywhere! Killian is losing his mind from worry."

"Probably not from worry, but from rum." Emma sighed and went inside the house.

"Emma, you should be more understanding, he's trying so hard." Snow White spoke, placing cookies and tea on the table as Savior sat down on the couch. "He came here a few times, asked me to talk to you. He said some ridiculous things about divorce."

"It's not ridiculous, Mom. Killian and I are divorcing." Emma said calmly, looking at the steaming mug of tea.

"Emma!" Śnieżka gasped. "You've only been married a few months. The first year is always the hardest. Killian loves you! Look how much you've been through!"

"Mom... you know best that Killian isn't the one I'm meant to be with. And yet you pushed him onto me like he was the only one in the world who would make me happy. Come on... I wonder if he told you what he did while I was gone." "
