"yeah, i'll come over when im finished here okay? and ill help you out, yes yes, i promise.. love you too i guess" jungkook giggles and y/n comes back into the room, jungkook still on the phone not noticing y/n entering. "yes i said don't worry, i promise i'll drop y/n at home and come up to help you out with it, okay, bye" jungkook ends the call and looks to y/n "hey babe, you peed?" "who the fuck was that?" y/n stands staring at him, her eyebrows raised "babe- it was just namjoon hyung, he broke his wardrobe so i said i'd go help him fix it after we're finished here" "go jeon." y/n scoffs, slapping him away from her "y/n-" "GO." "but we're not finished-" "if you don't get out of this room and this hospital in the next 30 seconds god forbid what i'm about to do to you jeon." tears roll down her cheeks as he looks at her, an upset expression visible on his face. "i didn't do anything wrong" his whispers as he leaves the room.
y/n sits down on the bed, rubbing her tummy, jennie coming into the room "y/n? are you okay?" she hurriedly sits beside her. "just my cheating excuse of a fucking husband. i thought he had changed." she scoffs and puts her head in her hands "hey... it's gonna be okay, i'll tell you what... i finish in 30 minutes, you're urine sample will be back by then, why don't we go and grab some lunch" "isn't that inappropriate with me being your patient" y/n chuckles softly, wiping her tears "you need a friend right now and so do i, win win situation, i'll even pay" jennie rubs y/ns back and she nods "yeah.. that'd be great.."
jungkook got into the car, sighing as he pulled his phone out, calling chae "yeah, y/n kicked off, she overheard me talking to you and i think she thinks i'm cheating again, i'm coming over now, we can organise the gender reveal and just hope she understands everything... yeah, i'll be over soon, love you too cuz, see you soon." he ends the call, sitting in the car as he watched y/n coming out of the hospital with jennie and sitting on a bench, her smiling and laughing as if she wasn't just threatening his life moments ago, he knows she's pregnant and it's hormones, but he didn't want to spoil the surprise he had planned for her.
jungkook drove to chae's apartment, buzzing her room from the entrance as she immediately buzzed him up. he walked up the stairs and into her apartment, seeing her nicely decorated room, admiring the interior of the apartment "hey jk, i'm sorry she assumed again, i called her and told her you were coming and helping me finish moving in, i hope you don't mind" chae spoke as she handed him a bottle of water, him taking it and downing the entire bottle in seconds "what did she say?"

"y/n? it's chae, i just wanted to let you know that jungkook isn't cheating on you again, he told me he loves me because i said i loved him for him offering to come and help me finish moving in and sorting my furniture, since you know im now living in seoul permanently, i just wanted to clear it up, if he was cheating again i'd be first to kill him" chae giggled and y/n let out a deep sigh "me and my overthinking ass... i feel so bad now... im gonna make it up to him.. thank you chae for giving me the context, ill call around with a house warming gift later, text me your address" "of course, ill text you it now, jungkook will be here shortly to give me a hand and then i'll cook dinner for us all, bring my little ji too, i have a present for him"

"thank god... i'm glad you told her, really, you're the best cousin i could ask for chae, but we really should start planning the reveal, i want to book for someone to do a buffet for next week and get it delivered to mine and y/ns place, and obviously only you know the gender, so i trust you to sort the balloon or whatever you'll want to do the reveal, i trust you to get it all sorted and make it memorable just like you did with ji-hoon when we had a gender reveal for him" jungkook didn't have anyone at the moment to help him with this , only his hyungs, but they couldn't organise something like this, he definitely doesn't trust them to do that.
chae has always been good with surprises, who knows, maybe she has a few more surprises up her sleeve...
