"Ah!" I scream, from my horrible nightmare. This, has been happening, for a while now. "Mommy!" I scream. I hear load footsteps, outside my door. "Claire? Are you okay? Did you have another nightmare?" Taylor asks, in a concerned voice. "Y-yeah." I say shaking. "Don't let me go." I say, burrowing my face, in her shoulder. "I won't. Never in a million years." Taylor says. "Can you sing to me?" I ask. Taylor nods her head. She sings, Safe and Sound, to me as I drift away, into a deep sleep.

When I wake up the next morning, I can't help but be scared, about my nightmare. Why is this happening to me? I feel weak. But every chance I have, something ruins it. It's like, my memories don't want me to sleep. Maybe that's why I'm having the nightmares. I get out off bed, and walk downstairs stairs, to see mom in the kitchen. "Hey." I say, to her walking in. "Good morning how did you sleep?" She asks. "Fine, I guess." I say, sitting down on the barstool. "Do you think I'm crazy because of these nightmares nares?" I ask. Mom, puts a plate of food in front of me. "No, that's completely normal, you did have a lot of tragedy." She says. I take a bite of the chocolate chip pancakes. "What's wrong?" Mom asks. "Nothing." I lie. "Are you sure?" She says. I nod, and keep eating. "Here," Taylor says, giving me some orange juice. "Thanks." I smile. "Are you sure you're okay?" She asks. I nod. "Do you want to talk about it?" "No." I say bluntly. "Okay."
We go up into my room and watch movies the rest of the day
