Year 2017
Michburst High School"PAXTON CARYS!" A voice of a girl heard in the school hallway. Dionne Anastach puffed and her face turned crimson when calling her crush Paxton Carys.
She had a crush with Paxton since elementary and because they are now finished high school, it is expected that she might not be able to see Paxton when they enter college.
All of the graduated students looked at her and Paxton, who was walking in the hallway while wearing the toga. Paxton stopped walking. He turned and approached her while saying, "Dionne, don't shout. Your voice might reach to the principal's office."
Dionne's heart beats a lot and starting to confess her feelings to him, "I like you, Paxton. I like you for so long!"
The students were squealed with happiness and they are expecting an answer from Paxton. Paxton looked at her coldly and his brown eyes no longer glimmered with happiness. He coldly replied, "Dionne Anastach, I don't like you."
They gasped and Dionne felt being emotionally smashed. Paxton added, "You are the huge embarrassment in front of my friends and classmates. You are not my type, and I don't like a girl who keeps on writing stories and reading books. You are lacking attraction to me."
Paxton left her and Dionne was fully shattered into pieces. She was in the midst of darkness. The students looked at her and she decided to leave with embarrassment on her face.
She left the school campus while wearing the high school toga and she felt souless. No one wanted to comfort her for what Paxton said to her. She starting to lose herself until all of a sudden, a familiar voice of a woman called her, "Dionne!"
She stopped walking. She turned and she realized it was her mother. Mrs. Anastach quickly approached her with a hardened look in her face and said, "Dionne, I'm looking for you anywhere! Where have you been?"
Dionne left unresponded. Mrs. Anastach shaked her daughter's shoulders and asked once again, "Young lady, I'm asking you where have you been???"
"You don't need to shout, mom! I'm tired!" Dionne burst into tears while answering her mother's question. Mrs. Anastach's expression changed upon seeing her daughter burst into tears. Dionne added, "I'm not loved by anyone. I am worthless piece of shit."
"Worthless? You are not loved? Who said that?" Mrs. Anastach was worried about her daughter's response.
Dionne did not answered her mother's question. Mrs. Anastach tried to guess until she asked, "Is it Paxton?"
"Not Paxton, mom."
"Dionne, I have feeling it's Paxton. Tell me the truth."
Dionne nodded with tears overflowing her face. Mrs. Anastach sighed and hugged her daughter as she comforted her. It was painful to see her daughter in pain because she was rejeced by the person she loved. Because of rejection, Dionne felt that she was no longer loved by anyone. The mother and daughter left the school and they drove home.

At home, Dionne went to her room immediately and as she is reaching the door of her room, her mother approached her and said, "Dionne, if there is anything you need, tell me, okay?"
"I need to sleep, mom. That's all." She went inside of her room and closed its door.
In her room, Dionne went to the drawer of her desk and saw the printed photo of Paxton that she kept for so long. She looked at the photo with sadness and she still remembered what he said to her: you are the huge embarrassment in front of my friends and classmates. You are lacking attraction.
Her blood starting to boil, causing her veins to be kettled wildly. She violently destroyed the photo of Paxton into pieces and she started to cry in silenr again. She went to her bed while crying and she swear to herself that will never forget of what Paxton said to her.
