Christian sees the dusky haze over the lot as he begins his trek to his rental. He walks past large patches of trees following the tire marks that lead out of the lot. He continues to walk until he sees his rental parked on the off-hand side of a little trail. Christian noticed that his rental looked a lot dustier than it did when he left it; the closer he came to approaching, he also noticed what looked to be dog pawprints all around the car. He reached into his pocket for the keys to remotely unlock the car; there were even prints that led to the roof, and what he could only assume was someone or even a couple of somebodies relieving themselves all over the roof of his car and on the tires. He felt his skin instantly heat up as he caught whiffs of the urine.

"Ah shit, that's just fuckin' great," Christian exclaims in disgust as he opens the door and sits in the seat. The car still had a faint smell of Sookie's honey and Christian's sweat embedded into the air mixing with the leather. Christian takes a big whiff of the air, and it makes his eyes emit a soft glow, which makes him readjust himself as it incites a bit of arousal. He starts the car and turns on the radio to search for some hype music on his way to see this doctor. He lands on a Stevie Nicks station and something about the way she sang got Christian into hype mode.

"Alright, let's get this shit started already," he revs the engine, which starts a low growl in him as he chuckles in excitement. Traveling through the dirt path, he takes turns based on his memory of what he saw from Arlene's car and the Uber. Making his way to the highway he saw large dark fur wolves in bushes and forested areas during his travels. Anytime he saw a dark blur with glowing eyes near a bush or a tree, he'd double-take and see nothing. He comes up on an exit with road signs pointing directions to the now-closed strip mall. Sitting at the red light just one block away from the strip mall, he takes notice that this part of town seems overgrown. Large weeds and tall grass everywhere he looked, hands on the wheel firm he was ready for this. He could see the mall just past the intersection from the light he was sitting at. The light turns a vibrant bright green, and Christian cruises on through the intersection, not a single other car in sight, which struck him as odd. Pulling into the front of the strip mall, he sees every storefront is abandoned. Suddenly, a dark figure walked out of the shadows of a backroom in an abandoned storefront; in an instant, the figure shifted into a large dark fur wolf.

"Holy shit.... did I just see a fuc-" he stopped in his tracks as the wolf disappeared out of thin air. Christian is a bit shaken up inside but tries to channel his inner beast to carry him through this.

"Woo... okay, I'm fine, I can do this, I am a fucking beast, and I am scared of NO ONE," he tries to hype himself to exit the car. Just then, he sees a police car coming in hot from his side mirror; watching the car make its way toward him, they backward park next to him.

"Hey, partner! Thought you could use some backup," Jason belts from his window that was already partially down and blasting the sounds of some mixtape with 80s rock bands on it. Christian is so grateful and glad to see Jason pull up to rescue him.

"Heh, I didn't think you would be up here that fast, pal," Christian shoots back in a friendly tone, still so glad Jason was there. Jason smiles and waves with his hand still on the wheel, he whips out his gun from his holster and releases the magazine.

"This is gone be my secret weapon for whatevers hidin in that there building," Jason catches the magazine in his other hand and turns it towards Christian who notices the bullets aren't the typical golden hue they were a shiny silver almost as shiny as his watch.

"What are those for? What are we up against?" Christian is now confused as to why Jason is armed to meet a doctor in a closed-down strip mall.

"When you've been in this town as long as I have you start to prepare for just about anything to pop off," Jason says proudly as he puts the magazine back into the bottom of his service pistol and pulls the lever for his trunk to open. He swiftly holsters his weapon and exits the car to make his way to the trunk. Christian is watching from his seat, still very intrigued as to why Jason is doing all this. Standing at his open trunk, he begins to sift through items to prepare for this, offering a vest to Christian, who declines politely.
