Your name is Karkat Vantas, and today is your first day at your new school, Alternia High. You had to move, your dad had got into a fight with the higher ups at work. Sadly you had to leave your bestfriend (y/n), you guys had hung out together since you were grubs, and you felt more than a little flushed for the she troll. Unlike your old school Beforuss High, this school allowed both troll and human attendees. In fact some of your online friends attended this school.
You were actually on your way to meet one of them at this very moment, your older brother Kankri had just dropped you off, and you were now climbing the stairs to the buildings entrance where your friend Sollux Captor stood waiting.
Sollux smiled at you, his eyes obscured by his 3D glasses like shades, he had a laptop case clutched in his hand. You stopped in front of him, blowing a few strands of hair out of the way of your vision.
"Thup kk" he said "HI FUCKASS" you replied, you werent actually shouting, just talking very loud.
"Wow ii thought you jutht typed liike that" he smiled, he was almost to eagar to meet you in real life.
"WHAT YOU THOUGHT I FUCKING TYPED LIKE THIS FOR MY OWN AMUSMENT, WHO PUT THAT IDEA IN YOUR THINK PAN" you snorted, if anyone of your friends didnt speak how they typed it was going to be Nepeta with her random role playing.
"Come on ii'll take you to your clath" you followed Sollux through the hall, your eyes wandering searching for anyone familiar. You almost stopped dead when you saw her, the same apperance, sense of dress and general clumsieness but it couldnt be her, she was still at Beforuss, wasent she, before you could explore your suspisions further, a rather bulky he troll stepped in between you to and took up conversation with her.

Your name is y/n, you have recently moved schools to Alternia high. You used to attend Beforuss high with your best friend Karkat, but you moved, you were trying to escape all the bullies at your old school. You of course never told Karkat you were being bullied, that would only make it worse. Karkat dressed like your typical rebel, he wore greys and blacks with a few small red highlights. You on the other hand were very different, you wore pastel green sweaters, that had little quotes on them beneath your sign. You always wore black tights under them and little black flats to match, you looked like your typical good girl, you and Karkat were a odd pair and people bullied you beacause of it.
You had just finished packing your locker, when a bulky and rather STRONG looking he troll walked up beside you and started up conversation.
"D-> it is a pleasure to make you aquaitence y/n" he dipped his head to you, a sign of respect in high blood culture.
"It is good to see you to Equius, is Nepeta any where about?" You smiled at the blue blooded trolls, he was one of your closer online friends and hopefully now real life friend.
"D-> I do belive she was searching for you in the East corridoor, she is rather hard to miss"
"Thanks Equius" you smiled before heading off towards the East corridoor to find Nepeta.
It didnt take you very long, she was waving a poster above her head, a drawing of you right in the middle.
"Nepeta!" You called out. The olive blooded she troll turned to you and smiled, discarding her poster, she ran at you tackle pouncing you to the ground.
"Y/n it purrfectly good to see you" she smiled
"You to nep but how come you werent at my locker, Equius was there" you asked curiously.
"I furrgot" she smiled.
"* (c/h) smiles warmly at AC's sillyness*" she grins even wider at this.she then takes her hand in yours and leads you through the winding corridors. The agility of nepeta seems to be a nescessity to navigate these corridors, a agility you lack, so much so you slam into someone sending you sprawling on the floor as the other person glares down at you.
"Wwatch wwhere your going land dwweller" he sneered.
"Nice to see you to Eri" you say looking into Eridans eyes, a unimpressed expression littered on your face.
Realisation snaps through his features.
"My apologise (n/n) ,i thought you were a rude lowblood" he says offering you his hand.
You grasp it thank fully. " not all lowbloods are rude Eri"
"Wwell yes i knoww that after all there is you as a exception"
"Daww thank you Eri" you smiled, you and Eridan had a weird thing going on it was a mix between moirails and matesprits, neither of you knew which quadrent to put it in. You had both decided to ignore it but that didnt stop the occasional flirting every now or then, It had surprised you when Eridan said he prefered this strange quadrentless stage he had with you then the possibility of actually filling a quadrent with you , even though you would have been one of the few people out there that would have been applicable for his quadrents.
You feel your self being tugged by your arm, you panic and grab Eridans hand, you two are then revealed to be dragged through the halls by a very hurried Nepeta. You come to a dead stop and you and Eridan almost slam into her. Equius glares at Eridan from the classroom door. Eridan just glares right back. You follow Nepeta into the classroom and the four of you sit in a row together, you next to eridan and nepeta and equius next to nepeta.
The bell rings and you wait to see the teacher step through the door but instead your met with a very different face.
