Elana's pov
she leads me to my mirror sits me down in front and starts brushing my hair.
"Aida, may I listen to you sing one last time?" she smiled concentrating on my hair gently gliding the brush threw it.
she hums and starts humming a gentle tune, soft and low her voice hugging my ears, I close my eyes just listening to her gentle song. I quietly hum along with her as both our voices turn into a gentle tune harmonising with each other. I look at her threw the mirror water filling my eyes, I wish she could come with me and just to have her with me would be a blessing.
my door starts t slide open
"Elana are you decent my dear" a low bellowing voice called, my father
Aida glanced at me and I shook my head at her. she gives me a cheeky smile and walks to the door. She opens it a crack and pokes her head out.
"Sire I'm afraid the princess is not ready and will be ready for the time of leaving " she bowed her head and shut the door
"Your going to have to talk to me at some point Elana" he bellowed banging on my door
"You cant give me the silent treatment not before you leave young lady"
I sigh and go to the door myself
"father yes I can give you the silent treatment, now leave me to get ready before I refuse to leave at all "
"fine just ... it doesn't matter " he trails off and storms down the hall way his flowing cape running after him and just after was a knight, a knight id never seen before he was tall, his armour glistening in the glowing candle light.
I slam the door making my anger known. Aida stood next to the mirror holding one of my dresses up about to pack it, it was her favourite dress I wear.
I watched her as she hugged it and placed it on top.
"Aida not that one" I run over and pull it out handing it to her
"I want you to have it"
"I cant milady" she hands it back
"I insist okay as well as this" I hand her a box that's wrapped up in a little red ribbon
"princess ! what have you done ey?" she gave me that cheeky smile I love
she opened it pulling the Ribbon off the box
"a new writing set? and a beautiful necklace, I'm forever grateful of you" she smiled and gave me a hug wrapping her arms around my waist.
"its so we can keep in touch I want to know all the castle drama okay ! and I want to know father is treating you well"
she smiled and pulled me in for another hug
"come on lets get you ready now princess "
