- It's kinda short but i really thought this chapter had a bit of meaning and a little bit more info bout the characters, I'll try and make the chapters this length. Okay? -

~ Chapter Four ~

When Trent and I got back to the campsite his parents had set up there camp. Mandy, Trent's mum elbowed his dad lightly.

' so Trent were have you been? ' his dad, Drew asked questionably and forcefully.

Drew is one of those parent that never really asks questions and always goes with the flo and doesn't really give a shit, so it was kind of a surprise when he asked the question to Trent. Trent just stood there staring in astonishment.

' What the, dad? You never asks questions? What is mum making you do? ' Trent started having a laugh to himself and it looked like Drew wanted to laugh too, but Mandy was watching him like a hawk. ' Well uhh I guess... I'm trying to be different? ' he looked over at Mandy. She just shook her head. ' No? Well I'm trying to uhh be better with how I act. Yah, I'm setting an example... ' he looked at Mandy again, she did a slight nod and walk away to get there suitcases.

As soon as she left Drew, Trent and I busted out laughing. ' Sorry, I can't even pretend that that was good acting ' I managed to get out. I was laughing so hard it was hurting my tummy. Seth and Ajay came to join us, saying that they were listening too. Drew and Seth fell to the ground laughing and Trent, Ajay and I fell into chairs. ' Dad, promise me you won't try being a role model again? ' Seth giggle to his dad. ' Fine, but your mum isn't gonna be very happy, will she Trent? Drew said sitting up. ' Correct, she won't be very happy. I wouldn't be happy if I was the only girl in the family either. ' Ajay and I started laughing. Then our mum and dad walked out of the tent. ' What's going on? ' Dad said. ' Oh nothing ' we all said at the same time.

When Mandy came back with the clothes for the boys, Trent went off and got a jumper. I sat around the fire with my hands in my pockets and my hood over my head. I felt someone come over and pull my hood off and start brushing my hair. I looked up to see my mum. I signed. ' you never play with my hair mum '

' I know, I've always wanted you to do things for yourself. ' She said while starting to do a fishtail braid in my hair. We sat there in silence. When she finished, I felt my hair. ' Wow, mum. I didn't know you could fishtail! ' I was actually so shocked.

' I've watched you plenty of times, and I made it a goal to learn. I also thought I should tell you that Abigail is come up tomorrow. ' She said as she finished my hair of with a hair tie that had a tiny bow on it. ' Really? Thanks for telling me ' I smiled up at her and got of the chair. I started walking around to Trent's tent when she grabbed my arm. She pulled me into her. ' I love you Lila and you need to tell me things.' she brushed my fringe away with her fingers. I stared into her brown eyes.

' I know mum, I love you too ' I smiled at her again.

When mum and I finally got out of the hug, I walked over to Trent's tent. He was playing on his phone. When I walked in, he looked up from his phone and placed it on his pillow. ' Wanna go to the park? ' I said.

' Sounds good. ' he got up from the stretcher and walked over to me.

' You know Abby is coming tomorrow? '

' yah, do now, thanks for the info Lila ' he smirked while placed a hand on my arm and rubbed it.

' Your such a sarcastic bastard ' I laughed and walked away from him heading for the park. ' You love me for it ' I heard from next to me. ' Wait I'm gonna ask Ajay and Seth to come, so wait here ' he ran off in search of the boys. I sat on the grass waiting.

When he finally came back, I stood up and the boys pushing me over and ran past me laughing. ' oh you gonna pay for that you little shits ' I yelled as I sprinted after them.
