A Taekook Short Story: Building our future together

Final part

Taehyung was getting ready for the Gala, he and Jungkook both in black tuxedos, looking hot and sexy. The silver curls shimmered under the light, the diamond earrings glistening with each movement. Ethereal, there is no other word to describe this beautiful boy. Jungkook stared at him as he put some lip-gloss on, smacking his lips softly before pouting cutely at the mirror. He made contact with the desire filled black eyes through the mirror, his breath hitching. "Oh no, no Koo, no, we have to leave, don't look at me like that..." Jungkook smirked, walked closer and placed a kiss on the red cheeks. "Later my love, later I will ruin you, and you will not say no, only yes and please" Oh shit. Poor Tae

They finally arrived at the banquet halls where the gala is being held. Paparazzi outside trying to take pictures of the people in the vehicles entering. Darkened windows fortunately kept the identities hidden. Only a few reputable photographers and news agencies were allowed inside. The annual Jeon charity gala is big news, as it is usually held in Seoul, this is the first time in the USA. Jungkook's parents waited for them inside, hugging both when they entered, cameras flashing. Tae turned to his own parents, who also hugged both. They finally found their way to their table after being stopped every few steps by someone greeting the Jeons.

The MC did his usual announcements, then inviting Jungkook onto the stage.

"Good evening, everyone and thank you for coming. Our annual event is to raise funds for many different charities, of which education is high on our list. The scholarships we give enable so many kids to get an education, giving them a real chance.

Our first big development here has already been unveiled and we are looking forward to the next ones. Our design teams together with project management teams are already working on the next projects. We are super excited.

Jeon Corp has expanded the last year, branching out into more areas and we are fortunate to have two amazing architects that joined our team. They also believe in the green concept, which will make a huge difference on the environment for the future. Both did their internships at 1.618, one of our partners. Mr Min Yoongi and Mr Kim Taehyung" Tae and Yoongi stood up, bowing to everyone. There of course were some sceptical and nasty looks, but all in all, friendly smiles ruled. "I would now like to ask Taehyung to join me." Tae stood up, very nervous. But looking up into Jungkook's eyes, the nerves left, and he only felt excitement. Jungkook took his hand, holding it on his crooked arm. "This amazingly beautiful person has agreed to be mine, to be my husband." Jungkook looked into the beautiful blue eyes. "Taehyung, my love, you own my heart and soul and I thank the universe everyday that Jimin took us to your parents' restaurant that day, because when I saw you, I knew, you are mine. I love you forever." "I love you, Koo, only yours" The soft whisper could barely be heard. Jungkook looked up again at the people sitting, smiling, and clapping. He held up his hand. "A few days ago, an unfortunate incident happened with a despicable, jealous person spreading lies about my fiancé. That has been dealt with harshly. Take that as a warning to anyone who dares to try to humiliate my love, who tries to hurt him. Kim Taehyung is the world's kindest, big-hearted person, and I love him, I will never let anyone hurt him. Now, have a wonderful evening and open your pockets for the charities we all support." Both bowed and left the stage, the MC taking over and the auctions started.

By the end of the night, a lot was raised, and it was a huge success. The pictures of Jungkook and Taehyung and the news of their engagement was very big news. The Kim family restaurant nearly busted out of its seams every day. It got so busy that Jin finally had to expand, buying the open shop next door as well. But with Namjoon and friends in construction the expansion was done quickly. Namjoon and Jin got engaged, Yoongi and Jimin as well, planning to move back to Seoul soon. Hobi and Lili broke up, but he met a beautiful Korean girl called Somi, who was a criminal lawyer back in Seoul, they are getting married soon and Hobi will handling projects in Korea from then. Namjoon will handle the US office together with Jungkook. He and Tae will stay here after their wedding but will travel to other branches all over the world. The company won the tenders to build the two eco friendly developments they worked on. Jennie and her mother left the USA for Canada, snaring a poor unsuspecting rich heir into a marriage. Hopefully his eyes will open soon and fortunately, his family insisted on a prenup... We will have to wait and see how long this marriage will last.

Mark as matter of fact decided to pull up his socks, Jimin became his roll model, and he worked hard. He later apologised to Tae as well. Tae still doesn't know when or where the supposed asking out had happened, but it's ok now, it is in the past.

Taekook's wedding was beyond grand, held in Seoul. Tae's family being flown in for the celebrations.

They were off to Thailand for their honeymoon, they could not be happier.

After a wonderful dinner, they walked on the beach, hand in hand. "I love you, Koo" "Oh my angel, I love you too, so much" Tae smiled in satisfaction. He will never hear enough how his Koo loves him. And his Koo will never have to wonder how much Tae loves him.

Entering the private bungalow, they brushed the sand of their feet, entering hand in hand. Soft candles lit the room. Tae was twirled into Jungkook's arms. "My angel, my darling, my love, my life, my heart, my breath, my whole existence..." Tae laughed at the over dramatic bunny. Kissing his husband's lips softly, he whispered "Yours Koo, only yours."

And the rest, as they say, was history. Nights in white satin sheets, cries of pleasure, two bodies intertwining, souls merging, two becoming one.
