I looked at my brother getting ready. He is always handsome. But looking at him getting ready after that dreadful plight he was in for last whole month, is relieving for me.

I might be a bit weird about this before. But thanks to the hide & seek my feelings are playing with me for Fourth, I am kind of able to adjust to the idea of having Nanon replace Bhabhi.

I did not get a chance to bond with Bhabhi much, so her death was not something that affected me deeply. I was sad to see my brother in that state and more so to see Fourth devastated.

But if everyone feels that this is a way to move forward, I am ok with it. In fact, I am happy about it.

"What the hell are you looking at?" Bro asked as he turned to me with a confused frown.

I shook my head and smiled. "I was thinking how good you look in all get ups." I winked at him.

He smiled briefly and shook his head. "Maybe I got it from you?" He said.

I chuckled. "Honestly, if Bhabhi had not come into picture, I used to think you had something for your assistant before."

O raised his brows at me. "Really?"

I nodded. "I mean, there were times when you talked about him when you were too drunk. And you always called him. Always asked him to accompany you. Or you would call him for silliest reasons. I had never seen him before, but I have always heard his name around." I said recalling all the times I heard him say Nanon.

"Can it be considered destiny?" But isn't it sad if for that to happen, someone had to die?

"I don't believe in destiny." Bro answered turning to the mirror and setting his hair.

Before I could ask anything, his phone rang and he excused himself. As I was about to leave my room, Aryan walked in. "Where is Ohm?"

"He just left for a call. What's up?" I asked.

He looked around and seemed frustrated. "Nothing. I'll go find him."

I held his arm to stop him from leaving. "What happened?"

"This doesn't concern you, Gem." He said.

"Anything that concerns bro, concerns me." I said and pulled him to turn and look at me. "What happened?"

My action made him frown in confusion. "Why do I feel like you are annoyed with me?"

"Because I am." I snapped. "Last time, on the day of bro's engagement also, you took him away and made a fuzz about Bhabhi and Nanon. And today too, after so long I am seeing my brother smiling, but your face clearly says 'Bad News'."

He scoffed. "Really Gem? Why am I feeling like everyone is being shallow at this point? NOTHING... And I repeat, nothing is making sense. How long did he know Nimi to have fallen for her so bad? And if let's say, he did fall for her, then why is he so eagerly moving on from her to her twin brother? Just because he looks alike?"

"Even if your questions sound like accusations, you answered yourself there." I folded my arms. "Bro found solace in Bhabhi. And since he did not know her for long, her face was what must have made the maximum impact. And because Nanon looks exactly like Bhabhi, he sure does have the capability of making bro feel at ease. I don't see anything wrong with it."

He shook his head and was about to leave when I stopped him again. "I won't let you ruin bro's happiness today. I am sorry but I can't let you meet him."

"You think Ohm is a child whom you can hide from me? I'll call him."

"Take it as a request or a warning" I said in a dead serious tone. "Don't bother today's ceremony. If I see my bro even a slightest bit bothered, I don't know what I'll do."
