I have always loved this season. The light breeze & the scent of new beginnings is why I love spring...

I gathered the flowers & tied them together in a bouquet. My family has a odd tradition... I've kept it up since I live on my own now.

I got to the courtyard in the center of my neighborhood. I had plants sakura trees around, & was hoping to the petals fall.

How many did I plant ? Nine. A perfect number... Today was bittetsweet as it marked the day I lost my grandfather.

I placed the bouquet on the grave when nine others were placed with mine. I was more than grateful for my dear friends. Fuma rested on my side in a comforting as we all sat around the grave, "アスカチャン、おじいさんが自慢すると思うよ。 ご存知ですよね？ 僕たちはいつも皆さんの味方です。" (Your grandfather would be proud of you, Asuka Chan. You know that, right ? We're always on your side.)

I smiled as I glanced over the grinning & tearful eyes of my friends as they conversed amongst themselves. The petals of the trees around began to fall in the light breeze.

I closed my eyes as I laid in the grass looking at the hopeful sky. A single thought crossed my mind, "We'll always have this wonderful memory... a bittersweet rain of cherry blossoms..."

Moonlight soon covered the ground & cheerful howls filled the air. I opened my eyes to find my friends happily running around. Completely content with themselves...

One of the wolves sat next to me. I guess they could sense how sad I still felt. I knew which of my friends this wolf was. Taki...

I smiled slightly as I looked up at the moon with Taki. Taki might not be the youngest of the pack, but be certainly was observant. It seemed like he always knew how to cheer me up without saying a single word.

More blossoms rained from the trees as the quiet day turned into a not so quiet night...
