Yuki signed as another bomb went off and looked past the tent flaps this was the third bomb since this morning. Vlad stood at attention ready for her words on the war and what they should do to win against the mad king. Her wings shifted behind her as she stood at attention and finally said to Vlad "move the soldiers back we will go on the defense if he wants to fight dirty." Vlad nodded and before leaving he took out a letter and set it on the box that served to lay out their map and said "Oh almost forgot but this came in for you" she looked at the letter and the silence that entered the tent made it seem like she and the letter was the only ones in the world and at the moment she would believe it. Yuki put a hand on head and tugged it down suddenly wishing she wasn't in a war so she could put the letter somewhere that it would conveniently get lost and drink so much that she would forget where she put it only to find once she cleaned but sadly that was not the case and she nether had the hiding spots nor alcohol to forget this letter so she huffed and sat down steeling her nerves to open the damned thing.

I wish you would write more but I understand that you are busy. she shook her head and thought "gods that was years ago how long ago was this letter written." Before she could pick up a quill and write to her brothers asking when exactly when was the last time they talk to their mother the flaps of the tent opened by a distraught soldier. She jumped up and said, "what happened?"
He looked scared and said, "the mad king and his soldiers are here and wish to talk to you and finally end the war."
I rolled my eyes and picked up my sword "the day that man finally wants to end the war is when all hybrids finally are ether in cages or dead." She straightened her shoulders and look straight and said "gather all available soldiers and send half with me and half to protect the injured. At any sign make sure to take them to safety," he looked baffled and said, "but ma'am." she raised a hand to stop him "don't question my decision we need to make sure if this goes bad that we can fight another day" he bowed and said, "yes ma'am I'll tell the rest."
She walked till she was next to Vlad and could see the mad king and his army on the other side with daisy by his side. Without a word she could feel the other soldiers behind her and waiting for her word. Without looking away she asked Vlad "if anything happens make sure they don't keep my body and stake his head on my grave." Vlad laughed quietly and said, "as if the angel of red could die so easily."
The soldiers stayed at the line as me and vlad walked to the middle and the mad king, daisy and his advisor also met us in the middle leaving their soldiers at their line. Once we got there, I tried to keep the glare off my face and said, "what are your terms for the end of war?"
The mad king laughed, and daisy looked uncomfortable she started " yu don't be like that..." but the mad king cut in and said, "oh we will get along perfectly."
The glare couldn't stay off her face at that comment "as long as you will love to wonder if that's the day, I finally cut your head off then yes we will get along wonderfully."
Daisy grimaced never one for violence maybe that's why she betrayed her friends. The advisor brought out some paper and said, "since you would like to get this moving the king will gracefully put a end to the war and grant all that was in the war citizenship and protection in his kingdom on two conditions."
She raised an eyebrow and couldn't help but put a hand on the sword strapped to her hip "all of that just for two conditions? You would forgive me if I were not exactly jumping for joy this just sounds like a false promise."
The mad king laughs again and said, "I could see why but I promise on my kingdom its true agree to the conditions and everything will be forgotten, and your soldiers will not have die on this battlefield."
My grip tightens on the sword "and what are the conditions you want so badly?"
He grinned and while putting up his fingers "one you will serve as my general and your soldiers will fight with mine and the second one is that you marry me and be my queen."
I laugh and just look at him "You really are the mad king."
Daisy looks more uncomfortable, and he just smiles " freedom for your people for shiny cuffs and a husband in power."
i look at the ground and just think adout its Vlad makes a noise and says, " you're not really thinking adout this?"
After a minute i look up with my shoulders straighten and head high i say " Ill marry you but Vlad stays my second in command and my guard and my people will not be treated like second class citizens that means if they will be treated like all the citizens in the kingdoms."
Vlad looks at me in horror and tries to say " Yu..." but can only say that before the mad king smiles widely and says, " deal my queen but know this i do expect you to do your queenly AND wifey duties."
Daisy and Vlad look in horror and i just straighten my shoulders more " fine."
The advisor a mousey man nods his head and says in a firm tone " I'll write those in the contract, and have it done tomorrow morning so you may sign."
I look at my now husband with almost disdain and turn around ready to go back before he says " I'll send my best doctors and some healing potions for your soldiers and transport to take you and your soldiers to the castle for our wedding. I can't wait for the wedding night." He leers with the words 'wedding night'.
My hand tightens on my sword and i try to not divorce his head from his body. I just gave a stiff nod and began walking back to the soldiers with Vlad on my heels.
