During the Edo Period of Japan, an older man ruled, he told people that he was a god, he showed no mercy and had a cruel personality. He had many slaves and often had people sentenced to death over even the smallest of things. He held a great power, often known as 'essokinesis', it is believed by most that he died many years ago, but very few believe against this. Many people later had been born with strange marks on their left shoulder, it was a small cursive 'K' this was believed to mean that they had a special power of sorts, some were incredibly strong and others were... well, they were interesting. Slowly, the 'kinesis' populations increased, little by little. This is the story of one of those people, with a kinesis ability far beyond any others.
Currently it is the year 2024, the population of people with kinesis abilities was over 2000, still not much compared to the total population of almost 8 billion.
A young girl is boarding a plane in Japan, she is moving to Australia, Perth to be specific. She had short, fluffy black hair, sparkling, aquamarine eyes and soft pale skin, she looked no older than 16. She walked onto the plane with an expression of disappointment and tiredness.
She sighed and sat in her seat, buckling her seat belt. She stared at her ticket for a few moments, it read 'Akura Mitsuoda, seat D-24'. Then she slipped it into her carry on bag and pulled out her phone, she tapped play on her music and put on her headphones. She slipped her phone back in her bag and sat back in her seat, closing her eyes.
Her eyes fluttered open, they were flying over a vast ocean, she looked out the window and sighed. "Few more hours..." She mumbled to herself and stared at the seat in front of her for a few minutes before she closed her eyes again.
An announcement goes over the plane, informing them of landing. Akura's eyes flutter open again, she yawned and stretched as the plane landed. once they came to a complete stop everyone started to get up and walk off the plane, she followed and walked over to retrieve her items.
She walked into the large open area, people were boarding flights, ordering food from small restaurants, leaving and taking items off the conveyor, etc. Akura walked to the conveyor and waited for her suitcase to come along.
Once she had her suitcase she stepped outside, taking a deep breath of the fresh Australian air.
