"AHHHHHHHHHH" Oven's scream was like a shattered mirror, a thousand shards of pain and anguish that shattered the silence of the forest.
His face was a deathly pale, his eyes wide with a horror that seemed to transcend the physical realm. Tears streamed down his face, mixing with the blood that dripped from his mangled hand.
Addy and Puck were statues, frozen in shock as they gazed upon the brutal scene before them. Their faces were drained of all color, their eyes vacant and unfocused as if they were staring into the very abyss of despair.
Vicolar's fear was a palpable entity, a living, breathing creature that seemed to pulse with every beat of her heart. She took a step back, her eyes wide with terror, her body shaking like a leaf in an autumn gale.
Her cry of "I want to go home" was a pitiful whisper, a desperate plea to escape the nightmare that had unfolded before her.Gravo's initial shock was a fleeting moment, a brief flicker of humanity that was quickly extinguished by the cold, calculating gaze that followed. His eyes narrowed, his pupils constricting as he focused on Oven's injured hand with an unyielding intensity.
His comment, "Heh, told you to shut up earlier," was a cruel taunt, a merciless rubbing of salt into Oven's wounds. The atmosphere was heavy with tension, the air thick with the weight of Oven's pain and suffering. The forest seemed to hold its breath, the trees standing sentinel as if waiting for the next move in this gruesome dance of violence and fear.
As Gravo and the others turned to flee, a tidal wave of monstrous creatures burst forth from the forest, like a demented procession of nightmares.
There were creatures with bodies like twisted root systems, their limbs writhing like snakes as they moved. Others had eyes that blazed like hot coals, their mouths open in perpetual screams as they chased down their prey.
Some of the monsters were humanoid, but with skin like rough bark and leaves for hair. They ran with an unnatural gait, their arms outstretched as they pursued Gravo and the others. Others were amorphous, their bodies like pulsing blobs of flesh as they oozed and slid across the ground.
"What the fuck is that?! Run, everyone RUN!!" Andrew shout.
Oven's group, still reeling from the shock of his injury, stumbled and staggered as they desperately tried to escape the horde of creatures.Addy and Puck seemed to be in a trance-like state, their eyes fixed on some unseen horror as they ran. Vicolar's terror had reached a fever pitch, her screams echoing through the forest as she clutched at Oven's arm.
Gravo, meanwhile, seemed to be fueled by a cold, calculated fury. He ran with a precision and speed that belied his earlier injuries, his eyes fixed on some distant point as he led the way through the chaos.
The forest itself seemed to be alive, the trees twisting and writhing as if they too were trying to escape the monstrous horde. The air was filled with the cacophony of screams, growls, and snapping branches, creating a maelstrom of sound that was almost deafening.
As they fled from the monstrous horde, Loid suddenly stumbled upon a hidden hole in the ground. "In here, quick!" he yelled, as the group scrambled to squeeze into the narrow opening. They tumbled in, panting and disheveled, and collapsed onto the damp earth.
For a moment, they lay there, catching their breath and listening to the sounds of the monsters outside. But as they looked around, they realized they were in some sort of underground chamber. The walls were rough-hewn and ancient, and the air was thick with the scent of damp earth and decay.
Suddenly, a bright light flickered to life, illuminating the chamber. The group blinked, shielding their eyes from the intensity. When they opened them again, they saw a message etched into the air, pulsing with a soft blue light.
*Congrats, you all have survived from the monster!*
The group stared, awestruck, as the message dissolved into a shower of sparkling pixels. And then, a new message appeared:
*You have been granted new superpowers!*
Gravo's eyes gleamed as he read his message: Fire Warrior - Ignore every damage for 5 min, 3 min cool down.
Andrew's eyes narrowed as he saw his own: Assassin - Can walk through anything for 6min, 3min cool down.
Vicolar's face lit up with a gentle smile as she read hers: Angel - Heal.
Oven's eyes sparkled with excitement as he saw his: Wizard - Put a lightning ball for 3min, 6min cool down, Group attack.
Addy's eyes grew cold and calculating as she saw hers: Sniper - Can use any guns to kill the enemy from far.
And Puck's face split into a wide grin as he saw his: * Warrior - Can call a big tornado 🌪️ and cause big damage, but 2 hour cool down.
The group sat in stunned silence, their minds reeling from the implications. They had been granted incredible powers, but what did it mean? And what challenges lay ahead?
