"wait a minute..."

The real reason why i decided to go out and get some "coffee," which I didn't, was because i wanted some privacy while texting my new roommate, i didn't want them emo bitches to catch me on my bed looking like a detective to see if my new roommate is emo or normal. I know going to a cafe isn't really "private" but its the only place i feel safe and lonely in a happy way.

I got out of the dorm, said goodbye to my emo roommates and went downstairs, I got on my bike and turned on my GPS to the nearest coffee shop, I dont really like coffee but I do like cookies! Once I arrived at the coffee shop, I parked my bike and went inside.

"can I just have a chocolate chip cookie? And some... Water?" while I was looking up at the menu

once I looked to the cashier, I felt a weird feeling... I forgot my money.

I had officially forgotten my wallet and left it next to my lamp. I would call my emo roommates to grab my wallet and bring it to me, but they would usually decline because they were talking about their breakup. I had no choice but to tell the cashier that I had no money.

I took a deep breath and was ready for such an embarrassment.

"Sorry, ma'am but I forgot my wallet." I gave an uncomfortable smile and felt regret for my decision, but it was too late.

"oh really?" She said, and I thought she was bullying me for a second, but then she said something else

"its okay, I'll just use mine!" she seemed really happy while doing it, i didnt hear any sighs or signs of her hating to do it.

She was the angel that day, and i couldn't help but say thank you 3 times or more, "THANK YOU 3x SOOO MUCH." For some reason, i didnt feel embarrassed at all doing that but instead, i felt like it was worth it to say that to the cashier. I went to a table, ate my cookies, and drank my water

And just like that, i had lost hope already, turns out she or he was on their shift so now i have nothing else to do but to go back to my dorm and sleep, so i did.

I got off my chair and said my last thank you to the cashier but when i said thank you to her, she looked at me and the computer screen back and forth as if something was wrong, i didn't really think of much to be honest but i thought it was weird she did that.

i went ouside and got on my bike, i skedadled home.

When I arrived home, i opened the door as i hear more crying, i walked to my room and layed on my bed while looking at the ceiling.

My mind was thinking of many things but one just couldn't go away, the way she looked at me and the computer back and forth was just really weird, the confusion in her face, its like she realized something... and again i didn't think of much so i just went to bed.

The next morning i had so much energy to finally move out of this dang dorm. I jumped out of my bed and grabbed all of my things and ran out, i went downstairs and ran to the building manager.

"sir! which dorm am i moving?" i said whilst i was out of breath

"room...uhmm hold on please.... oh yeah! Ryo right? room 127" he said and right after he said that, i ran at light speed and went upstairs again.

When i arrived infront of the door, i silently knocked on the door but no one answered, i was stupid enough to just barge in the room, i was relieved from the silence, i was looking down because of how tired i was but once i looked up, suddenly i heard a large gasp from another person, "Im your new roommate now" i smiled not realizing why the person gasped so loud, i looked at the person.

"wait a minute..."

It hit me, it made me realize why the cashier from yesterday was looking at me and the computer back and forth... my roommate was the cashier from yesterday! i had eventually gasped really loud aswell

"your the cashier from yesterday!" we were just standing there in absolute shock.

"you gotta atleast tell your name right?" i asked

"what the fuck! this is crazy!" she answered while holding her head

"do you trust me now? trust issue bitch" i asnwered back with an annoyed tone

"my name is Kuri..." she seemed annoyed aswell

"thank you!" i felt more calm
"how old are you kuri?"

"im 17..." she seemed even more annoyed

"why are you mad? your the one with trust issue, so you gotta job either than being a cafe cashier?" i asked more questions

"no not really... just a cashier" she answered

"really?" As if I was bullying her but I really wasn't

"hey! Can we just get to cleaning?"
