"You can tell him yourself" the solider said as he led them both to the front section of the airship.

The angry young girl took one look back as several other soldiers, clad in black, knelt down by the young woman she shot.

"This one shot Sasha...I don't think there's any hope for her."

She felt the solider's hand grip her shoulder tighter, wondering if he wishes he had just tossed them out of the airship.

The boy next to her stayed quiet the blood dripping down from a cut on his eye. She felt an overwhelming guilt that he was being dragging into this.

"It's all my fault" she thought. "Why did he have to grab on"

"Sasha...she's dead"

Despite being a trained solider knowing the name of the person she now killed seemed to make her stomach feel like there was lead in it.

She watched the others around her react. The pain on their faces. The tears from the solider's face in the door way. He seemed so familiar. Everyone seemed so familiar.

Her head started hurting, she could hear voices in her head. She was wishing that she had been tossed out of the airship.

"Eren...Sasha only died because you got the Scouts involved"

She looked to see who he was talking to and there he was...dirty, disheveled, a maniacal look on his face.

"EREN!" Gabi Braun awoke with a start, her hair a mess from sleeping against the car window.

The driver of the car swerved off the road and slammed on brakes due to the sheer shocked of Gabi's sudden outburst.

Gabi's hands desperately tried to reach out to catch her phone and her sketchbook, but was unsuccessful.

Luckily they weren't on a major interstate or highway or the two in the white Honda Civic would have probably been the cause of a massive pile up.

"Sahsa what the heck? Are you trying to kill me?"

"Well it would make us even" she said with a small laugh.

Gabi frowned.

"Sorry poor timing, but you scared the hell outta me..."

Gabi relaxed a bit into her seat. "Just a bad dream or I guess a flashback or something"

"Wanna talk about it?" Sasha asked as she eased back on the road.

"Where you and Eren friends?"

"Eren Jeager...yeah...or so I thought..." Sasha trailed off.

"So why did he laugh? When..."

"Connie"

"Connie told him what you said before you..well you know...he had this twisted laugh. I just don't know what was so funny?"

Sasha pondered the thought for a moment. Despite having very detailed memories about her last life as a scout in the survey corps, no one else around her seemed to remember. It wasn't until she met her sister's new friend Gabi that she learned she wasn't alone.

"To be honest I don't really remember what my last words were if I'm honest. I just remember Connie's warm hand on my cheek...him begging me to hang on". Her face fell a bit.

"I'm sorry, I know that's hard to think about..."

Sasha waved a hand dismissing the thought. "At least I have him here" she said with a smile. Thinking of her boyfriend back home.
