"words passing through each other, transpiercing the barrier of speech
and touching our souls,
where our hearts have fallen in love with each other.
Our bodies calling out to the one other, recalling memories we know are forbidden.
The promise of reunion flies before the eyes of those whose presence prevents us from savoring the other's presence."

Alayna Delgado Bardot.

Before even her birth, the walls of life smashed up the small and gentle face of Alayna Delgado Bardot. She was born into a family that doesn't recognize the miracle of life, especially if he comes in an impure way. Poisoning the love that should be given to a baby and twisting it into a sea of sadness. The venom of deep hatred towards those she used to call family. Promising one thing to herself, that she'll make the ascension of all the wagons of the train where they shut her in, until she arrives at the captain's cabin.

When the new flight that she got into Maxton Hall, the stranger's going by the same last name as her closed their eyes, and in whispers started the prayer's for the downfall of the bird that was slowly making her way out of the cage. The window that Alayna found in the madness of family was her uncle. Arthur Bardot is the only name that brings a smile to her face. Also the only one who sees what's hiding behind the curtains of Edward Bardot, her father.

The only one.

"The product emerges in the water mixing with the pool, and Alayna doesn't noticing the toxin slowly filling her vocal cords. The tears that will serve as her drug flow from her gentle eyes accustomed to the feelings of a heart oppressed before the catastrophe. Arthur Bardot's screams are desperate, while Edward Bardot's are filled with bitterness. The air is choked with fear. Was it her father's screams, or the toxic product attacking the pool? Alayna couldn't tell, her brain, indeed all her muscles, were at a standstill. Unwilling to face, once again, the monster coming at the young child at full speed. With a strong, painful grip, Alayna was lifted off the ground and slapped so hard, she was sure her skin would be scarred for life of any touch of any kind.

"-What have you done?"
