Lisanna's POV:
It had gotten quite lonely without...him...I didn't even know his name at the time...well...I did have a rough guess of his name.
My rough guess was...Adam.
That name was plastered all over the room after all.
Ever since he left, I had been wondering who's voice that was. Adam didn't really explain anything. He just told me not to move.
Not to move...
Not to move...
Not to move...
Like hell I was gonna gonna do that!
I quickly got up and stormed out of the room, frowning as I did so. I growled and ran down the stairs.
"ADAM!!! I'm bored...you left me all alone in the room and I had NOTHING to do! And also-" I cut myself off. I noticed a strange, curly-haired brunette sitting across from Adam.
She had on a pastel pink spaghetti strap shirt on with some high-waisted blue jean shorts. She had a...medium sized build, might I say. But her eyes, they were a beautiful shade of blue. They reminded me of...my home.
Hm...she seemed interesting.
"And who might this be?" I questioned, raising an eyebrow.
---
Adam's POV:
Maia and I were having a pretty civilized conversation. We just casually talked about school and current trends. It was actually quite peaceful...
That is, until Lisanna came down.
The whole peaceful atmosphere was gone and was replaced by a more...awkward...atmosphere.
I didn't have the chance to say anything because before I could, Maia leaned over to me and whispered:
"Who might that be? Is she your girlfriend?"
I shook my head, my cheeks bright pink. "N-no!"
"Ooh? Did you do the do? Did you woohoo? Did you frickle frackle?"
I could feel my face turning completely red. "Fuck no!" I yelled before standing up.
"Maia, this is Lisanna! Lisanna, meet Maia! Now make friendship!" I yelled before stuffing another burger in my mouth.
Being the idiot she is, Maia squeaked loudly and ran over to Lisanna.
"Aww!!! You're so cute! Look at your figure! You look just like a doll!" She cooed, hugging Lisanna tightly.
"I, um, thanks..." Lisanna mumbled, blushing deeply.
I swear that I felt my heart skip a beat. Lisanna was just so damn cute!
I groaned and got up once again. "Alright, alright, enough of that...it's like, what? 11:30pm? You should be heading home. We have school tomorrow." I managed to pry Maia off of Lisanna.
Maia sighed and nodded in response. "I suppose you're right...well then, I'll be off...see ya!" And with that, she rushed out the door...bringing the leftover food with her...
It was at that exact moment where Lisanna asked me this dreadful question:
"What's school?"
---
It didn't take me very long to explain school to Lisanna. Here were my exact words:
"School is a horrible place that is basically the equivalent of hell. Demons, called teachers, teach us about many different things such as MATH." I took a deep, dramatic breath, just to add affect to my explanation. "And even, worse those demons give us cursed assignments, projects, and the worst of all, HOMEWORK!" The look on Lisanna's face was totally priceless. She looked totally scared. "But, despite all that, we both still have to go. Because it's the law..."
Lisanna honestly looked like she was gonna burst out crying any second.
"Just kidding! But still, school is pretty messed up. And it's true that you'll have to attend...it's also true that you'll have projects, assignments, and homework." I explained to the rather angry-looking girl.
"Geez! You could've explained it another way! You had me thinking that it was something totally different! It's just like the thing I had back at my, uh, 'home'..." She huffed before crossing her arms.
I just shrugged stupidly and stuck my tongue out at her playfully. I noticed that her cheeks had turned bright pink. How cute.
---
Lisanna's POV:
It wasn't very long until I noticed that I was blushing.
What the hell!? Why was I blushing!?
I mean, yeah, he's cute, with his dirty blond hair...and his big green eyes...but that was beside the point!
I had just met him!
Completely embarrassed, I stormed upstairs into his room and sat on the windowsill, only to be followed by Adam.
"What's up with you?" He asked, chuckling slightly. The way he laughed irritated me.
I crossed my arms and stuck my nose up in the air like a little brat. "Nothing! Nothing at all!"
Adam sighed rolled his eyes at me. "Yeah, whatever. Now go to sleep. We have to get up early tomorrow." I just huffed and looked off into the distance.
The nerve of that guy...telling ME what to do....but, he did have a point.
"Alright, fine...but where?" I mumbled. I didn't even bother to look his way. He heard him let out a chuckle.
"You can either sleep in my bed or on the floor."
Pfft. I already knew which I was gonna choose.
"I'll sleep on the floor. In the closet. I'd like to keep myself...pure. Who knows what you'll do." I smirked and pushed myself up and off of the windowsill. I heard an offended gasp emit from Adam.
"Hey! I'm not a total pervert! I would never do anything to you." I could hear the hurt in his voice. Served him right for making me blush earlier.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever."
After saying that, I crawled into his closet. It was actually quite spacious in there. It wasn't too dark either. There weren't too many clothes or shoes. It was...comfy. I didn't need blankets or anything. It was too hot anyway.
I wasn't really ready to go to sleep so I decided to explore the closet...Even though there wasn't much to explore.
I didn't find much...except for a small brown wooden box.
And by small, I mean small.
The box had little rose designs carved onto the sides. It was so pretty. I ran my hand across the smooth surface of the box. I then ran the tip of my fingers across the little rose designs. They were so carefully and beautifully carved. There was such detail on every rose.
It must've taken long to create such a well-made box.
On the side of the box, there was a small silver little handle as well.
Being the curious person I am, I cranked the handle slowly and set the box down.
A little melody began to play. It was a beautiful sounding tune, yet, it had a bit of a sad feeling to it.
It made me feel a slight pain in my heart. Almost as if the melody had taken all the insecurities that I'd shoved into the back of my mind, and brought them out with it's alluring notes.
It kind of gave me a sense of nostalgia...almost like I was missing something, but I didn't know what.
I just laid down and continued to listen to the sweet melody of the small box...
Then, suddenly, I started to remember. The feeling of nostalgia had became stronger and before I knew it, I was singing along with the tune.

Singing its silent song of misery
A monster lies trapped in its own Nightmare
'He' is a tyrant
It lets out a plea
Why did she have to leave it all alone?
Bound to sing for us, a worthless monster
It never sees us
It despises us
Lying so useless, we start to holler
'Hey, get up you worthless circus monster...'

And with that, I slowly started to drift to sleep, still quietly singing to the melody of the box...

A/N: I don't really have anything to say... XD Was it good? Or nah?
