Sybil

He's standing there . Looking at me and touching me by trailing his finger tips on my face , all the way to my chest . His smile makes this moment even better , even more intimate than it already is . His lips trailing down my neck as I shover under his breath , his face . Everything he's made of .

"I want to take you ." He says and I nod , I nod without hesitation like a shameless girl who's desperate for her prince's touch . To feel him . He-

"Aghhh." I gasp waking up to my face shivering from the cold water that it was refreshed with . I look around and everyone I sleep with is looking at me and miss Julie who's standing infront of me with a glass in her hand .

"Oh my , miss Julie I apologize . " I quickly stand up and fix myself.

"Get ready now and come to my office after you're done."

She says and leaves . Could I be anymore embarrassed than I could? They all laugh walking out of the room . Genevieve stays behind and she gives me a pitiful look before walking out too.

I sit on the bed and I want to kill myself just at the thought of what I dreamt about . Uhhhhh.

I knock on miss Julie's door and I open the door slowly looking inside. I see miss Julie sitting alone and she tells me to come in.

"You're finally awake." She says and I can hear the distaste of her tone. I look down feeling the embarrassment washing over me.

"I'm sorry, I really don't know what happened."

"Do you know the consequences of this behaviour."

"Yes I'm sorry. I shall-"

"Shut up and sit down . The queen shall be here any minute."

Wait . The queen.

"Sit... down." Miss Julie says strictly and I sit down on the sofa.

I don't remember the last time I sat on a comfy sofa , it's always the chairs of the maids and their pretty uncomfortable.

I sit while we wait for the queen. And suddenly the door opens and guards come in .

"Your majesty, the Queen." They say stepping aside and I see miss Julie stand and I do too. The queen walks in.

"Your majesty." Miss Julie and I both say as we're bowing to the queen. She just passes the both of us as she goes to sit in her sofa , her royal sofa . I'm not surprised why it's different from ours.

"You may sit down ladies. " The queen says as a maid comes with her tea prepare it for her while me and miss Julie sit down.

The maids bow before leaving and the queen looks at us while sipping her tea.

"So, you're Sybil I'm guessing."

The queen says and I nod immediately.

"While walking around I heard about your over sleeping in the palace. Are they true."

"Yes , but it was only today."

"Mmmm, that's not what Ludovica added on your description. "

What? Did she talk to Ludovica about me.

"Anyway, miss Julie here is going on a month leave . So I talked to Ludovica and she recommended you to take over miss Julie for the month. She's departing tommorow so it means you're starting tommorow. Don't disappoint me or Ludovica."

Before I even breathe in the queen is already at the door leaving. Wow , whatever the queen says it goes. I sit in awkward silence with miss Julie.

"Let's go, I have to show you around on the upper level. "

We stand up after miss Julie states and we leave the room.

"And this is Princess Valentina 's room . I hope you catch it in your head ."

"Uh miss Julie...."

I call her and she looks at me .

"Why didn't you recommend your niece ?."

"Because she's already the head of all the functions happening in this palace. Balls, birthday balls...name it . She organises them . So I think that's enough for her . And Lady Ludovica recommended you and I can't go against her word . Is that all?"

"Ah yes."

"Ok , and this one right here is the prince's room . I hope you catch it in your head . Ok now that was all I'm sure you're tired of walking so you can go back while I go pack ."

I chuckle looking at her before leaving.

"Wait Sybil....!"

"Ah yes?"

"Inform Genevieve that princess Valentina wants to see her . Now."

"Ok miss. Good luck with your trip. "

"Sybil , what happened?" Genevieve asks running to me and I hug her smiling.

"Are you worried about me ?"

"Of course I am."

"Well don't be . I'm going to tell you everything when we're not busy for now Princess Valentina is calling you . "

"What ?"

"Just go before the queen learns you disobeyed her daughter ."

"Ok bye Sybil."

"Bye Gen."

I look at her with a smile and when I turn back I see the prince approaching me but I can't leave because he's already here.

"The painter's room now." He says leaving and I just stand there.
