she sinks into the comfort of the couch and look up at the ceiling,her mind whriling in a mixture of happiness,anxiety and excitement.she think about future with manik ,she pictures them doing the same thing they do now, expect with more love and silver ring on each of their ring fingers.she imagine them in the kitchen,giddy with happiness after getting flour all over each other.And when manik pull her from her waist and their hands the band on their fingure would clink and manik would kiss her hard in the mess they are in.

the door bell ring which break nandini out of his dream land, she know it must be a manik .she reach the door with the half a mind wanting to just ask manik question right there,at the doorstep, so she does not have to suffer in anxiety for the next ten minutes. she open the door and her her lover is standing here smiling at her he look so handsome she smile at him and welcome him at home with sweet cheek kiss . Manik pull her closer and say whispering in ear you look beautiful and bit her earlobe .

but to her surprise manik to drop on his knee and pull the ring out of pocket and took nandini hand and kiss every fingers looking in her eyes and then he slide a ring in her finger.
