I froze on my feet and the world seemed to narrow around me. The weight of the unsaid truths about us was pulling me down. I felt like I was at the edge of a cliff. My mind was grappling with the fact that the night might end with a heartbreak.

The air was suffocating.

Not tonight, please. I prayed to my God. I didn't want things to end in a flash.

His face was unreadable, causing me to juggle my spiraling thoughts. I was stoned in fear; scared of the words I was meant to hear.

"I don't think we should do this right now, Oppa," I locked my gaze into his.

"If not now, then when?"

I realized that no matter how hard I tried to prepare myself for this, I could never be ready for this kind of devastation.

"Give me a little more time," I begged. Because to be fairly honest, I didn't want to wake up from this beautiful dream and face the harsh reality that he isn't truly mine. I could and would never ever find the courage to let go of our shared laughter and stolen glances.

Yearning to prolong every second with Soo Hyun, I decided to end the conversation and come with him to the grocery as originally planned.

I was on his passenger seat, stealing glimpses of his beautiful face. We both tried our best to forget the little dialogue we had earlier. He tried telling his silly dad jokes to make the atmosphere seem better. It worked. His words always work on me. It never fails.

I always end up smiling at him.

With him, my happiness simply radiates.

"How about we get these franks?" He placed around three packs in the cart.

"Are you really going to get three? I think that is too much."

"Who said so?" Though wearing oversized sunglasses to cover his identity, I knew that his eyes were screaming protest against my protest. "I am gonna eat franks for the next five breakfasts."

"I see. So, you're gonna bring it to your home." I shrugged my shoulders. It's his money and preference, thus, he could do whatever he likes.

"Nope. Everything in this cart will be placed in your kitchen."

He kept pushing the cart while my body refused to move from where I was standing.

Breakfast for the next five days. Grocery goods in my kitchen. He never planned to bring the freaking franks at his place.

What good could it mean?

He looked back to call me. "Honey?"

I snapped back to reality. His actions were confusing. Or maybe mine were, too. I followed where he was. Fortunately, our grocery shopping was peaceful. Best believe, no one saw us together or recognized us. I just hope no one did.

"Let me prepare the dinner this time," he comfortably took out everything that he needed from my kitchen, as if he has lived in my place for a long time.

"I didn't know you can cook," I said while I helped him arrange the purchased stuff in the fridge.

"Google can surely do some help. And oh, Youtube as well," he proudly said.

"Since when did you have time to watch and learn from Youtube?"

"I did while you were sleeping earlier. I want to make something nice and comforting for you, Ma'am."
