"Wait, so the snow just... appeared?" Tip asked Riley for conformation.
"Yeah, Jamie was saying where the snow should go and pointing to the spots. Then, the piles formed," Riley replied.
They were supposed to meet with Jamie in half an hour so they were getting ready. They didn't want Oh to hear their plans so they were talking a few yards away from him.
"You think he might be like the heroine C. Rebrum?" Tip asked.
"No, because the snow was real. Believe me, the snowball to the face proved that," Riley told her.
"How about Dreamer?" Tip suggested.
"I'm not sure. Maybe..." Riley started to think.
"Jamie couldn't have C. Rebrum's powers since the snow was real and not a projection.
However, if he had powers like Dreamer's then he could have created an invisible monster with ice powers. But he wasn't asleep when he did it unless he made it beforehand."Riley groaned and rubbed her temples. All this superhero stuff was confusing for her.
"Before we go let me finish my chips," Tip told her and took out a half-empty bag of chips.
"It takes us like 15 minutes just to get to the statue, we don't have time to eat," Riley groaned. "Just eat on the way."
"A growing girl has to eat without rushing. You've just started, so I'll chalk it up to being inexperienced. Besides, that gives us an extra 15 minutes to eat," Tip replied and stuffed her mouth.
"Tip, hurry up!" Riley whisper-yelled.
"Okay! Okay! And shush! We can't look too suspicious otherwise we won't be able to see your boyfriend to ask him about the snow," Tip replied in the same tone.
She stuffed the bag into her jacket's pocket and zipped it close.
"First of all, how dare you? Second of all, that's why I'm telling you to hurry," Riley retorted.
Oh was typing something in his Boovian tablet while he examined Slushios. Tip and Riley were hiding behind a few bushes before they walked out. They talked casually and walked past Oh, silently cheering once they thought they were home free.
"And where do you think your two are goings?" Oh asked.
Tip and Riley sighed and turned around with small smiles.
"We just wanted to take a walk. It gets very boring just watching you fix Slushious," Tip replied.
"Yeah, we just wanted to walk around nothing too exciting," Riley added.
"You are both knowing the consequences of messing around, are you not? Riley may only be a few months in the future but we are years before our time Tip," Oh lectured them.
Tip copied Oh's lecture with her hand and Riley chuckled.
"We know, Oh. We're just going to take a walk, okay? Thanks, love you, bye!" Tip told him and quickly pushed Riley away.
They continued to look behind in case Oh wanted to follow them. Just to be sure they walked around various trees to throw off his trail. When they were out of the forest Riley looked at the statue in the middle of the park and stopped talking.
"Riley?" Tip called but Riley continued to look around the statue.
"What are you looking for?" Tip tried again.
Riley raised her head and took one last look before answering Tip."Yesterday, I saw something here. You know how I can sometimes see colors around people based on their emotions?" Riley asked her.
"Yeah, you've told me," Tip replied.
