My lovely cocoon
Your threads are a roughness
That I can bear
I fix you,
Whenever there is a small tear
I work to preserve you
A solitude given by the earth
A warmth of staying stagnant
A feeling of home and hearth
I know I may leave you someday
A painful transformation
But in these moments
You are my lovely cocoon
And I will work to preserve you
Here I am safe
Safe from any true harm
Maintaining an equilibrium
From tainted memories
I love you,
My dear cocoon
In every possible way
For I have never known before
This incredible feeling,
Called safe
