I got home after another exhausting day of school and ran up the stairs to my bedroom. I flung open the door as fast as I could and jumped on the bed for my iPad. I unlocked the screen with my password 'Josh&Chris' and opened up the app called snapchat. It's an app where you can send pictures to someone and add captions to talk to them. I had been talking to this guy named Josh for quite some time and I feel like I've really gotten to know him. He's 19 but he's super cute and he said he likes talking to me. I was about to snap him a picture of me when my dad yelled "Chris! There's someone at the door for you!" I sighed and closed my iPad. Slipping on my slippers, I headed slowly down the stairs wondering who it could be. I opened the door to see my best friend Natalie. "Hey Nat." I said as she asked to come in. "Dad! Natalie's sleeping over!" I yelled not really sure how long she was staying, but hoping it would be overnight. She stepped in and we walked back upstairs. "What's up?" I asked wondering why she hadn't called or texted me before coming to my door. "I was going to snapchat you, but I figured you'd be too busy with Josh" she said, mocking me. It was probably true though, this has happened before. "Sorry." I laughed and we sat on my bed beside each other. I finally unlocked my iPad again and we snapped a pic together to send to Josh. He responded with 'hey Christine, cute friend'. Me and Nat took another picture together and sent it saying 'this is me&nat :)'. 'Oh cool. Where's you at Nat at? :)' he asked like he couldn't tell by my wallpaper. I just didn't respond and me and Natalie started talking for a while and she ended up staying the night. During the night, she fell asleep early though so I started snapchatting Josh again. We were talking for about an hour when he randomly said 'no I'm serious, where are you guys?' I was a little creeped out that he was asking where I lived but I trusted him enough that I told him anyways. I was extremely shocked when he said he lives in my town! I thought he was just joking or something but I guess he wasn't because in his picture he had a serious face. This was weird now. What he saw me before? What if I saw him and didn't notice? What if he realized I'm ugly in person? I ignored him the rest of the night and fell asleep. In the morning, I got a billion pictures from him saying that he misses me and he wants to make me his princess... I was sort of beginning to get creeped out by this guy so I sent Natalie home and ignored him for the rest of the entire weekend.
A few weeks passed by and I hadn't talked to Josh since. I had also just gotten my driver's licence too. That night me and Nat had taken my dads car out for a spin and I had dropped her off at her house. I was driving home and when I checked my rear view mirror I noticed a black, sort of suspicious looking car following closely behind me. I kept driving as I neared my house and tried to make out his face. He looked familiar but I couldn't tell who exactly he was. I pulled up into the drive way and he pulled over onto the side of the road. 'Holy crap...' I just kept thinking. 'That's Josh...that's him.' He started walking up to me and I started for me door. I liked him and all but as a snapchat friend only...he was 19! I heard his footsteps quickening and sped up. He caught up to me and I felt a warm hand lightly grasp my arm. Being flipped around by him, Josh pulled me closer. "It's me princess." he said. I felt a shiver crawl up my spine. "Josh? Is that you??" I said like I didn't already know. He pressed his lips against mine and I pulled back almost instantly. The hold on my arm tightened when I refused to kiss him. "What's the matter Nat?" He said with a bit of a sarcastic tone. "You finally have me. Wanna take me for a spin in your car?" I was confused of his words, but I felt pressured, so I got back into my car with Josh.
