Y/n: Your Name
N/n: Nickname???'s POV
"War... a never ending cycle that started ever since the dawn of humanity... what am I saying... it's just nonsense isn't it? War just happens right? A cycle that always repeats itself at some point in time for every period."
"War's just a quicker way for those of the living to pass. War's just a mind breaker, mentally ruining us while giving long term negative effects that will always haunt us till death...."
"War... war.. war... WAR"
There I shot up from my bed, panting heavily as my breathing was ragged, my body, sweating from the nightmare... I then looked at my hands, pale and shaking. I couldn't shake off that eerily feeling... and that memory....
Everyday I wonder more and more... why did humanity decide to just bring us back from our forged demise? Some of us were scrapped away, some even destroyed during the world wars... so why? Why bothered bringing us back? We're just outdated tools from the previous wars, with bodies of humans... if they could've built us, then wouldn't it be more useful to just use the modern ships they had? A singular modern fleet could outclass 2 fleets of World War Two Ships...
Maybe... maybe I'm just being too negative... right? Sister?
I looked up at the roof, glancing at the old worn white paint slowly peeling off from the passage of time, then, I glanced at the window, that memory always gnawing at the back of my head. Just looking at me with it's shit eating grin as it replays itself... over and over again.
I sighed, closing my eyes as I quietly muttered the words
"7 June 1942"
"Everything will be alright"
That's what she said to me right at my face calmly... then next thing I knew when I blinked, her ship was leaning on it's starboard. I tried to shout for her name... but it was useless... she... she...
The sound of heavy rock began to overthrow that hideous memory, causing me to sigh and try to regain my focus for only the song to blast louder. Playing just across my room which only began to annoy me more and more as the sound just continues to increase it's audio. I already forgot what I was trying to remember as I was making my way to the other room. I knocked on the door a couple of times before bursting it open, hearing a yelp before a thud, indicating whoever it was, just fell off from where they were.
"Hornet, what have I been saying of not blasting loud music so early in the morning?"
I angrily spoke at this blonde haired girl in a cowboy attire who is my little sister.
"Ow ow ow... I'm sorry sis... I was just testing the new speakers I bought from that cat down the dock."
