Chapter 2

Violet and Ruby exit their classroom summer break was about to start.

"hey Ruby what do you think about going away together like we could go to Florida for a while." Violet says

"Yeah sure" Ruby smiles following Violet as the two are walking through the hallways going to exit.

Ruby couldn't help but look at Violet everything about Violet was just perfect her beautiful dark hair falling on her shoulders her brown eyes.

Violet smiles, "alright then let's go pack our stuff we'll see each other at your place" she waves as she leaves.

Ruby smiles walking home.

"Mom and dad told me you're going on a trip to Florida with Violet" Noah says leaning against the door opening.

Ruby is packing her suitcase seeing her brother enter her room, "yup kinda excited about it" she says as she closes her suitcase.

"Are you going to tell her?" Noah asks helping Ruby with her suitcase.

"Tell her that I have feelings for her, I don't know if that's a good idea though Noah"

"But you'll have to tell her someday, you can't keep it for yourself eventually she'll notice" Noah says as he carries Ruby's suitcase while getting downstairs.

"Hey" violet is standing at the bottom of the stairs smiling at Ruby.

"Hi" Ruby smiles back Noah notices the way Ruby was looking at Violet.

Henry their father comes out of the kitchen, "have fun princess" he smiles at his daughter placing his hands on her shoulders.

"Thanks daddy, I promise I'll call as soon as we arrive in Florida I promise"

"I'll take good care of your daughter" violet reassures

Ruby looks at Violet smiling at her.

Violet doesn't notice Ruby looking at her as her gaze was focused on Ruby's father.

The two girls leave and Noah follows carrying Ruby's suitcase.
