In the opulent halls of the Morgan Estate a young woman stood before a grand mayor her reflection mirror in the turmoil within her heart she was Elizabeth Vanderbilt the daughter of one of the wealthiest families in the country and today marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life. 

at the age of twenty-two Elizabeth had been thrust into an arranged marriage with Alexander Morgan the handsome and enigmatic heir to the Morgan Fortune it was a union orchestra traded by their families a business arrangement meant to satisfy their wealth and power.

But as Elizabeth gazed into her own troubled eyes, she knew that her feelings for Alexander had transcended mere obligation she had come to care for him deeply to love Him with a passion that she had never known before and yet the same could not be said for him.
