Nicole's POV

(Monday)

Today started off weird example one I woke up without Ellie waking me up which is strange, because Ellie has woken me up every morning since the day we met, and two because it wasn't just oh I'm up before Ellie came to get me, no it was I woke up 30 minutes before Ellie, which never happens. Yet here I was at 6 a.m. putting on my flip flops so I could walk to the café to go get my morning coffee, again something Ellie does for me, and now I'm realizing all the crap Ellie does for me.. I should pay her, but I'm not going to. I walk into the all too familiar café and the amazing smell of coffee hits my nose.

"Man I love the smell of coffee." I mumble when our manager comes out of the back.

"Nicole you're up early, I mean early! And where's Ellie she's usually the one coming to get coffee? Anyways what can I get you?" He asked confused as to why I was up. Trust me dude I am too, I am too.

"Well I would like Ellie's usual" I said he just laughs and goes to the back to make the coffees. I open up twitter and saw a few notifications from our fellow performers. They were all along the lines of 'Did you see @EllieArmstrong and @Nicole_Hunter performance for @EdSheerans contest? They were AMAZING! You fans are in for a treat when you see them.' Which of course made me smile, and I knew they were just trying to make friends in the business or trying to get more people to like them so they'd stay in longer so I reply to a bunch of them mostly 'Thanks but I think you're going to win!' or 'Your performance was so cool! They're in for a treat when they see your performance!'

"Nicole?" Our manager says I run over to him and smile. "I'm going to miss you girls you were great waitresses and amazing on the spot performers." He said I knew he wanted us back for reassurance and so he could pay us nothing but I would still miss this place. "Thanks come back again." He yelled I opened the door and turned back to face him.

"You know I will!" I said. I loved our manager, but I hated our paychecks. I began my walk home and opened the door it was 6:29 a minute before Ellie wakes up so I set down the coffee on the kitchen counter and filled a cup with water and ice before making my trip upstairs. I smiled before tossing the up of ice water on Ellie causing her to jump out of bed.Ellie stands next to her bed drenched.

"Wake up Ellie!" I sing right before her alarm goes off. She glares at me and then looks at her clock.

"Two questions, one Why are you up so early, and two why did I wake up in an ice cold shower?" Ellie asked I just shrugged and continued to softly laugh at her. She looked like a kitten that had just fallen in a bucket of water.

"I just am...Coffee's in the kitchen; I'm going to go change!" I said running out of her room before she decided to harm me in some way. I look in my closet and grab the outfit Ellie laid out for me and I head to our shower. Once I get out of the shower I blow dry my hair and put it in a braid since it was being difficult, I then grab the outfit Ellie left out and start putting it on, I slipped on the black lace top, white high-waisted shorts, and red vans, I then applied my eye makeup and red lipstick. I jump down the stairs and head to the kitchen to grab my coffee; once I get there I sit and wait on Ellie to come down the stairs. I should really start picking out my own outfits, but Ellie's so good at it and I don't have to worry about matching and colors and ugh! I'll do it someday! Ellie comes down the stairs in a red high low top, white skinny jeans, and black combat boots. I hand Ellie her coffee and toss her car keys to her before running out the door. Ellie pulls the car around front while I lock the front door.

"Look it's the park where my dead coffee is!" I said Ellie laughs while she pulls into the parking lot. We follow the detailed instructions that were inside the packet and found our way to the meeting room where the judge from last night is standing smiling.
