Heath x Monster! Reader pt.2

You had been at monster high for a while now, and let's just say, you and Heath had gotten much closer. For example, walk around campus during breaks? He's there. Out for a movie? He's already sitting down next to you. Talking to Manny? He's putting his arm around your shoulder to drag you off once the conversation is done. He's always there for whatever boring, or exciting, activity that you want to do. Sometimes it seems almost too often, but you don't mind, since you love the company he brings. You also certainly love him.

It was more of a recent development that you had finally realized, but hey, are you complaining? Well, the answer is yes, because you have no idea if the fireball sees you in the same light. So you're whining and moaning about how pathetic your game is. If you can't pull Heath, then your love life is certainly doomed. It's gotten to the point your ghoul friends can't even be mad at you for how much you talk about him. Honestly? They feel a whole ton of pity for you, since they are sure he loves you just the same, but they aren't going to reveal the secret, so they let you whine and moan, all the while hyping you up to ask him out. Hence the situation you're in now, over at Clawdeen's house for a sleepover with Frankie and Draculaura. It was only you four since the other ghouls were too busy with other things to come.

(Y/N's) POV:

"Girl... you're going to have to tell him soon, otherwise you're going to drive yourself crazy! And that's one freaky flaw not everyone can handle." Clawdeen said with a slight giggle at the end.

Draculaura continued, "She's right, (Y/N)... You might just go batty harboring those feelings inside." Giving a sympathetic smile in your direction, whilst brushing your hair.

"I know, I know, it's just so hard! Like, why can't I just walk up to him and say "hey, I'm in love with you. Love me back or reject me and stay friends." Actually, no, scratch that. That's way to overbearing. I can't say that! What could I'd even say? I'd probably just freak out and run away..." I say, bringing my knees to my chest and folding my arms around them. I'm honestly making myself sick with these moths swarming in my stomach.

"Honestly (N/N), it's about time you just put on your big ghoul heels, march up to him, and spill your guts. Can't be as bad as when Clawd confessed to Draculaura, he was a stumbling mess and accidentally broke the door off her locker." Frankie paused to giggle a bit, but continued, "And Draculaura still said yes! So you can't do much worse, right..?"

"Sounding pretty unsure at the end there Frankie..." I stated while pouting. That sure was a confidence boost Frankie! Note the sarcasm.

"While Frankie may have been more blunt about it," Clawdeen shot a glare at Frankie, making the voltageous girl wince a bit and give an awkward smile, "-she's right. You really need to tell him soon. It's really getting to you, we can all tell at this point. We don't need you breaking your own heart because you decided to bottle up your feelings."

Flushing at her words, I mull over them. She's right, I can't just keep them to myself hoping they don't spill out or go away with time. I'm only really hurting myself at this point, and others since I can't keep my head out of the clouds long enough to not bump into anyone anymore. It's become a serious problem.

"Yea, you guys are right. It's really affecting other people. I mean, I've almost put Jackson in the hospital because I couldn't take my mind off the anxiety for crying out loud..! I really need some sort of plan to tell him. If he rejects me, at least it's out in the open and I don't have to worry about it anymore, right..?" I announce after a brief silence.

"That's the spirit! Now we need to make a plan and prepare. As they say, if you're always prepared..." Frankie trailed off.

"You'll never be scared!" The rest of us exclaim in unison, bursting out in laughter after. Now we can make a plan and get back to our girls night over.
