Airy and Glowy stood in front of the house, their new house to be exact. They both still couldn't believe what happened to them about a week ago. After Liam had gotten them out of the place they called home, they were now in an unfamiliar area. Well, to Glowy it was, even though Airy had been on Earth before, it's been about a decade since he had died and ended up in the waiting room, so it also was a little confusing to him as well.

Well, for starters, the two had finally gotten a proper shower. It was definitely the experience for Glowy. They had bathed in Airy's universe, although they really just washed their bodies in ponds or near the waterfall, of course without the use of any products. To Airy, it had almost felt taking his first shower all over again. They hair was finally combed through as well, but we don't talk about how painful the how process was..

Anyway, Liam managed to get some help, and found a nice house for Airy and Glowy to live in. Besides, they could live normal lives, and ONE would never have to happen again. To Liam, it was two benefits in one.

Another thing the two had to get used to was new names. Airy and Glowy weren't exactly considered normal where they were now, so they had to change them, although it would definitely take them some getting used to. Miraculously, Airy had found out that his past name was indeed, Marshal Emerson. He went back with that name before deciding to call his daughter something that sounded a little similar to the name he gave her. And then it hit him. Gloria. Yes, that was perfect! Marshal and Gloria Emerson.

Marshal and Gloria stood in front of their new home. It was a one story house with yellowish-beige coloring, but it definitely looked nice, plus big enough. Marshal held up his bags, which contained stuff that he would need for his new life, and looked down to Gloria, who was looking at the ground. "Ready to go inside, dear?", he asked. Gloria glanced up at him, before looking away, staying silent. Putting his bags down for a bit, he knelt down, looking Gloria in the face. "Glow...uh..I mean, Gloria honey, what's wrong?", he asked, reaching out his hand towards her chin, tilting her head so that she could look at him. Gloria gave him a saddened look, she had that expression on during the trip to the house as well.

"Papa...I don't know if I'm going to like this new life...it's weird and different...I..I wanna go back home..", she mumbled, small tears pricked her eyes. Marshal sighed, gently moving his hand to wipe her tears. "I know, sweetie. This is different for me too, but we'll have to just deal with it. Besides, this could be exciting, being in a new area. But don't forget, I'm still here with you, and I'm not going anywhere, okay? We're both in this together.", he reassured, smiling warmly at her. Gloria slowly nodded, reaching for her backpack, which Liam had given her. "Okay..", she simply said, taking her father's hand.

They walked down the little driveway, Marshal unlocked the front door and opened it. He let Gloria go in first, then himself. As his eyes adjusted to the darkness of the house, he hummed in approval at the inside so far. It looked really comfy, there was a nice living room with a few arm chairs and a fireplace. Plus a small kitchen, which had several plates decorated on the walls. Gloria looked around, before going down a hallway, looking at the bathroom. The first thing she saw was the shower curtain, it had a really nice and colorful looking ocean theme with several fish on it. She smiled at the sight. The rest of the bathroom was naturally white and light blue. Had a sink, toilet, and a cupboard.

She then moved on to one of the bedrooms. It was a lot bigger, plus the bed looked like it could fit a couple of people in it. This was most likely going to be her father's room. She shrugged, going to the other bedroom, seeing that the walls were painted a pale pastel shade of blue. She "oooed" at the sight, stepping in and seeing a small bed with purple sheets and a white railing. She jumped onto the bed, giggling as she felt herself bounce up a bit. It was pretty soft, a lot more comfortable compared to her old bed. Maybe this wasn't going to be as bad as she thought. Suddenly she remembered something, and dug into her backpack, taking out her doll, Tini. She placed it onto her pillow, smiling. Marshal appeared at the open door, smiling as he watched Gloria. "Like that bed, pumpkin?", he asked. Gloria nodded. "Hey, I thought we could take a quick trip to the store, and buy some other stuff you may like, you know, make your room stand out a little more.", he offered.

Gloria jumped down excitedly, grabbing her father's hands. "Yes! Can we go now Papa? Pretty please?", she asked. Marshal chuckled, ruffling her hair. "Of course, honey. Come one..", he motioned, walking down the hall, Gloria followed. When they made it to the store, Marshal walked through the different aisles, while Gloria picked out the certain stuff, or decorations that she liked. Once they had gotten back home, they spent the next hour unpacking and getting Gloria's room set up. The two sat on the bed, admiring the room. There ceiling has these pretty butterfly string lights that were hung down, plus they had also found this cute looking frog lamp. Needless to say, Gloria's room looked much better now.

After the two had dinner, which was some bread rolls with soup. It was defiantly different from the berries and fish they had eaten back then, but it was also very delicious. Marshal walked into the living room, resting himself in one of the arm chairs. Gloria walked in as well, glancing over at her father while she stood on the carpet. "What's up, honey?", he asked, raising an eyebrow. He wondered if she was probably bored or something, considering it was almost her bedtime, so she usually had a few minutes left to play or something. "Papa, can you read me a story? Like you..did before?", Gloria asked, looking down. Marshal smiled, nodding. "Of course! Say, how about you go get dressed in one of your new pajamas, and I'll go find a story that Liam gave to us, okay?" Gloria nodded, running down the hall to her room.

About a minute or so later, Gloria came back, with a fuzzy long pajama dress, and she got onto her father's lap, as he held the book in his hands. She leaned in close, resting against her father's shoulder as he started reading the story out loud. A few minutes later, Marshal looked down, seeing that Gloria had now fallen asleep. Smiling, he put the book down, before gently carrying her to her bedroom, placing her onto the bed and tucking her in. As he started out the door, he gave one last look, before smiling, reaching over to turn off the light. "Goodnight, my little pumpkin patch.."
