Ann walked slowly through the building hallway, the sounds of dripping water could be heard all around her. Her hand slowly pressed against the wall next to her, it felt rough and looked like it could fall apart with enough force...but those thoughts were immediately forgotten...that didn't matter...nothing in this building mattered...only...
Only HE mattered...
Ann began mumbling to herself, gripping her arms, feeling her nails dig into her skin, barely noticing the drops of blood now oozing out of her. It didn't matter...her pain meant nothing...she meant nothing...all her being was entirely on one person...one very...Very...special person to her...
"Darling...my innocent perfect sweetie...my very soul...my beating heart...my eternal vow...my reason to keep breathing...my love...my every thought...my sole being...my everything..."
Ann kept mumbling to herself, every step she took like if Auto-pilot was enabled to her. She kept walking, and walking for what felt like hours. Until finally, she arrived where the Directions were leading her towards...or rather...her starting point...
The room she entered was pitch black, not even the dim lights outside the room provided light inside. Ann looked around the room before fully taking the step inside, only for the door to suddenly shut behind her, making her turn around in shock before an old T.V. Set turned itself on...Both Ann and the one behind the screen meet once again.
"Human beings are such Enigmas...We can be deeply loving and deathly protective over the ones we love...and yet...we can just as easily abandoned them as an owner would with his pet...That is what you thought he was...right...?"
The Old T.V. Started flashing pictures of him...of her (Y/n)...Ann's eyes were glued to the screen as she saw him. 'His smile...His eyes...so bright...so beautiful...', her thoughts told her as she was now in front of the T.V...her hand slowly reaching out, her fingers lightly pressing against the screen, as if the action could someone make what she was seeing a reality...

Lost in her own little world, with only the pictures now vanishing in static, replaced by the figure once again snapping her out of her mind...the look of hatred and displeasure clear on her face. "You've lost your chance of happiness the very second you entertained the very thought...You brought so much agony...so much misery...too much suffering...on a soul that never deserved it..." Ann clenched her teeth at the words, her fists clenched harder, nails digging deeper into her palm, drops of blood already dripping down her hands.
"Enough banter...your test begins now..."
The room she was inside blinded her as the lights turned on suddenly, making her shield her eyes, a soft curse uttered from her lips. When her eyes finally adjusted, she found herself not alone as two others sat across from her, a female wearing a classic shirt with jeans, and a male wearing clothing similar to the girl. Both being in the room the entire time, a collar around their necks and a chain bounded to the wall behind them, but not uttering a single word...but with the lights now on, like the room, a switch flipped in the two with her.
"I-is it finally time...? C-can I finally do my test...? P-please say I can...I-I have to find Him...I-I can't leave him alone...n-not again..."
"Where...where is she...Why isn't she by my side...? Where...? Where...? Where is she...?"
Slowly, the boy and girl looked straight ahead...and saw her. Their eyes widened as a memory flashed in both their minds.
"Hello James...I want to play a game...You were once a loyal protector boyfriend...devoting your future life for her...until you found what you called an "improvement"...abandoning her when she needed you the most. When you finally realized what you have done...it was already far too late...
"Hello Emma...I want to play a game...in the past...You found someone who made you smile...made you experience joy you haven't felt in so long...and he was happy as long as you were...but you decided to push that too far...enjoying what you called an "experiment" with multiple others as he was left alone...broken...and too late to save..."
It hadn't been 5 seconds in real time before Ann heard them screaming, clutching their heads, pulling at their hair to the point of ripping them from the roots. "NO!! I-I DIDN'T MEAN TOO!! PLEASE!!! PLEASE SWEETIE!!! I FUCKED UP!!! PLEASE DON'T BE GONE!!! I CANT LIVE WITHOUT YOU!!! I REFUSE TO LIVE WITHOUT YOU!!!!" Said the Boy, his eyes shaking, his pupils staring at the ground, as if trying to stop him from losing any more of his rapidly leaving sanity.
Ann looked at the Girl, seeing her merely staring back at her...before a wide smile started to grow on the Girl's face...it got wider...and wider...Tears started falling from her eyes, the Girl's nails scratched the ground beneath them, "T-that's a fucking lie...He's still alive...H-He isn't dead...H-he wouldn't leave me...I-I still haven't made everything up t-to him...I-I promised I-I would always be with him...H-he can't...".
Both the strangers slowly began to stand up, the chains holding them back gave way, releasing the collars around their necks, both looked at Ann with Emptiness and desperation as they slowly began walking towards her. Ann's mind instantly made her body tense up, her eyes focused on the two coming towards her, the T.V. Set played once more.
"Both are like you Ann...Both used to be Fiercely Loyal only to their Lover...Both would happily give up everything if it meant they could be with their partner forever...To complete your test Ann...it's simple..."
"They're like you Ann...Only a Cheater can kill another Cheater..."
