My stomach flips in somersaults as Harry hastily approaches me from the doorway with his eyebrows furrowed as if he were lost deep in his thoughts. I don't blame him though as whatever has happened I'm sure is a big deal to him, and the fact that he didn't bolt out of that doorway to wreck havoc on whoever did this to one of his men shows some sort of change in him that I could have never predicted nor expected from him.

"I'm sorry he saw you like this" He throws me completely off guard as he mumbles this, running one of his hands through his hair quickly whilst motioning to my state on the ground with his other. I was not expecting that.

"It's not like we were expecting any of that to happen, so it's okay" I reassure him softly with a small smile, still gripping my top tightly in my hand covering my chest. Usually I would be appalled at the idea of so many people, let alone men, seeing me this way. I suppose that's a small change in myself that I also could have never predicted nor expected.

Harry's eyes dart down to my covered chest before he silently kneels down on the ground in front of my body and takes my top from my hand, flipping it inside out and then gestures to me to lift my arms up before he slides it back down and over my head. He rises to his feet once again, now towering over my body as he holds his hand out for me to take.

The silent and now completely different aura in the room is really coming to light.
"Are you okay?" I ask as I take his hand and am lifted to my feet. I hold onto his shoulder for balance as he leans down to pick up my crutches, and once he passes them to me I am finally able to feel secure on my own two feet.

"I'm fine. Can't say the same for Mark though" Harry chuckles dryly, flicking his head now towards the doorway.
I smile slightly, not really knowing how to respond and not wanting to make this situation any harder by saying or doing something that might cause Harry to redirect his stress and anger towards me.

"Come on slow poke, apparently we've got some real shit to deal with" Harry walks out of the stable, leaving me alone for a few moments before I hobble out the door and after him.
Once I am by his side once again, Harry brings his two fingers to his mouth and whistles loudly, causing me to turn fully towards him, confused.

"Why did you-"

"We're in a hurry, yes?" Harry cuts me off, and I turn my head back in the opposite direction when I hear the sudden sound of hooves galloping towards us.

"Oh... you were calling your horse" I say dumbly as the horse slows up and Harry places his hand on the bridge of its nose, "are you sure you should be riding?"

"Why wouldn't I?" Harry answers as he helps lift me up onto the horse. "We need to get back as quick as possible, and I sure as hell will not be waiting around for my slow-assed one-legged friend to catch up".

I giggle at his smart ass comment and gently shove his head as he quickly secures my crutches to the side of his horse.

"Your friend, huh?" I tease lightly, entirely surprised at Harry's seeming light-heartiness. "Didn't realise we were now friends".

Harry raises an eyebrow at me before smirking as he climbs up onto the horse behind me.

"We could never be friends" Harry voice behind me says nonchalantly, and I really don't know how to take it as I can't see his face, but when he slides his arms past and around my waist to grasp the reigns, a comforting feeling engulfs me instantly, allowing me to move on from my confusing and unwelcome thoughts.
